I use my CCs to pay living expenses (utilities, groceries, clothing, gasoline, etc). I pay the balance in full prior to any finance charges. I get cash back with each purchase. Since using the cards for the past 5 years I have received $4,000 cash back! Yet I never have to pay finance charges. The CC company makes there money from the merchants.

A key element of credit card debt right now is that it does not include bnpl “buy now pay later” loans. So the issue is actually incredibly worse than it appears.
When silver goes to over $100 (and it will) the country will be in bad shape. BUT...with silver (and gold) you will still have money available to buy a loaf of bread. While others pay $10 for a loaf of bread, you will pay one 90% silver dime. If you have limited funds, do what Sal mentioned, buy 90% silver dimes, quarters, and or half dollars. You do not need full ounces per purchase.
The meat will be gone as well as they want you eating bugs, so make sure the bread is not Bill Gates bread. Canned food stacking sounds pretty good as well.
I wish to 'invent' a new word regarding the current situation, and mixed feelings. We already have FOMO (FEAR of Missing Out), I wish to introduce a new word 'YaahNoo!'. The JOY of the price increase, but dislike of paying more to buy! Lol!
We already say "Yeah, Nah!" in Australia, or "Yeah, but!". So "YaahNoo!" makes perfect sense to me! Lol!

@@Evom777 mostly necklaces and bracelets. Cuban, Celtic, Double Foxtail, Byzantine, Rope styles etc. Hand made from melt to finished product. One sale using 1-2 Oz's can pay for another 10oz bar. Great way to stack more PM's. Lots of work but worth it.

Thanks Sal, what happens in the U.S. definitely reflects on Canada as well. With this inflation and our own debt, it is getting to a critical point for so many people who can barely meet basic expenses. I have not been able to add much to my stack now for quite a while though I did manage to buy another kilo of silver. Now eating every other day to save.

Putting a $1000 or 10,000 dollar bill in circulation would make America look like a banana republic., which it really is. I am paying off my mortgages as slowly as possible.
We kind of really do need higher denomination bills in both the US, UK and other western nations due to the rapid decline of all fiat currencies but governments, central banks and mints are sadly decades behind the times and slow to respond to changing situations.
In the UK anything above a £20 note is looked on with suspicion and many places reluctant to accept £50 notes. Some parts of the UK do have £100 notes but they are as rare as hens teeth and I've never seen one. The £50 notes themselves are very rare. Why bother making a bank note if it is always going to be looked at with suspicion and the holder treated as some sort of criminal? We're not. The governments, central bankers and commercial bankers are the criminals.
I think in the US you guys have a similar situation but your equivalent may be the $100 bill. We really need £50, £100, £200 bank notes here in the UK. And the US probably needs at least up to $500 maybe even $1000 like you say just to keep track with inflation and the devaluation of the Dollar and Pound.
Some of the small denomination coins don't make sense to produce because it costs more to make them than they are actually worth so we need to take some off the bottom and add to the top.

I think when the new Costco type silver buyer's start talking to there friend's and families the stigma of owning silver may turn to FOMO. This may cause a short lived boom on metals.
My take? In 2024, hundreds of millions of people have stock market trading accounts. And they can now buy silver and gold ETFs with a couple clicks of a mouse. That might pull hundreds of millions of ounces of physical silver into warehouses.

It's just my opinion, but if you move the decimal point two steps to the right on the Spot Price of Silver, it's probably more accurate to the true Silver to Gold Ratio.
We can't really compare Silver or Gold to Fiat, especially when it's backed up with the FULL FAITH AND CREDIT OF A MORALLY AND Spiritually Bankrupt Cult of Pirates.

I bought silver rounds at $25 each, today those same 1 ounce rounds are over $30 each. I have zero intention of selling any of my Stack. By no means this is a prophet system, so let’s stay vigilant and maintain a hedge against this ever increasing inflation. If anything purchase more precious metals if even a little bit at a time. If you live in California, try to clear the state tax by making $1500 purchases to your local coin shop. See what they got. I personally am partial to the silver buffaloes.
