guys i made a new video lol hey hi
It was good keep it up :3
gud video hi hey lol
bye bye ur advic gud but i eet frise
The part about needing to play everyday was something my immo friend told me about when I told him bout my inconsistency but since my brother has bad grades my parents won’t let me play daily
My biggest “tip” is to always be focused. Like the video said, people tend to autopilot. That’s always what gets you killed. Just stop and think for a moment.
yessir turn those brains on (im stupid)
but it's no fun that way
Facts tho, i zone out way too much.
@@Zielllu winning is pretty fun tho
@@Zielllu well then its fun when ur hardstuck silver 1
this is. ACTUALLY a person stepping in the right direction
preciate the kind words and you watching, means a lot!
@@wavytaebanytime, i just really appreciate watching when people actually take the time to actually see what it takes to improve at something rather than shortcut it like everyone else very nice to see👍
"aim is only there to correct a mistake you made" perfectly said. Me and my duo got to high immortal and he constantly felt it was his aim holding him back and i was trying to tell him that aim isn't as big of a worry as he thinks and in my opinion he had good enough aim. This is probably one of if not the ONLY valorant guide that actually speaks majority truth. Most valorant guides are survivorship bias or simily wrong. Dicipline beats talent play consistant by being consistant it's that simple. Good video man keep it up!
Yes that's why some high ranked players have robotic aim but still get less kills than players with just about decent steady consistent aim that relies on crosshair placement and microadjustements rather than flicking
appreciate you
@@wavytaeb who
@@slowtalker Exactly. I don't know if people here are just coping about bad aim. You can get to immortal solely by having great aim. Reyna and Chamber one tricks that came from CS have been proving that many times already. You can be horrible at valorant but if you have great aim and good tactical fps knowledge from cs, you can become immortal. It'd be a lot harder to become immortal with bad aim.
@@RestTarRr aim is a huge thing but dude i ve seen many high elo cs players get lost in valo and overwhelmed by thousand stuns

You are giving many people tips that they need to get better, you really deserve more subs than you have right now. Goodluck with your venture into youtube.
appreciate it.
In march i noticed i really like this game, so im putting in the hours. Not just practicing aim and crosshair placement but trying to get every bit of info on how to improve, guides, correcting bad habits, etc. But if u cant do this at least a fair amount per day its going to take a lot more to progress. Being consistent is key to every hobby, sport and many other things. Nice Video ! gl
thank you >_
Love this video, finally someone that tells you what the best way to improve is. This video is actually better than any guide out there 🥶
glad it helped ^_^
my man actually earned a sub for genuinely touching my valorant passion. keep getting better wavy
all love appreciate the support brother
I love the way you put this, you say the truth and don't sugar coat it like all the other youtubers do, you break the truth to people who are hardstuck bronze-gold (and higher), getting better isn't a quick fix, it's not something that happens overnight, just like how got good at that other game, you put time into it and got better at it, you aren't going to get good at a game just cause this 1.5M Subscriber youtuber told you "If you use my sensitivity you'll get good overnight"
appreciate the comment
Good video man

ur so real for this, ty for this vid. needed to hear this
get out there and climb nowww >_
i always say this and it feels so refreshing to see someone else finally say it & make a video about it
altough if i play many rounds a day i do get exhausted and perform worse, so it really depends on the person - but realistically playing more = getting better
thanks for the comment ^_^
you get exhausted because you don't take breaks. it doesn't stop at playing 5 games a day for example, the continuation is that it's best to sprinkle them up through your day as much as possible. play back to back games only when you're on fire, otherwise it's best to take at least a 15-30 min break between them. of course if you're busy with life you probably have 6-7 hours of free time a day, but even still 4 games are like 2 hours and a half and you still have the time to take breaks in between. watch a series/anime episode or smth then get back to it. it's so simple
Its better to play consistently 2 games for a week, than it is to play 14 games in one day
@@SnowMexicann no it literally isn't. 2 games a week will never be enough time to get any type of good rank in any game ever unless you're a prodigy, and news flash most people aren't. we're especially talking about a shooter here, with the gameplay leaning towards the reactive side whereas a game like League leans towards the methodical side and if you learn the correct things you can get better much faster. In a shooter you basically have to train your subconscious reaction and your aim gets progressively better strictly by practicing more. you can play 2 games a week once you've reached a certain level to where the game is ingrained in your brain and you can take it slow without losing everything you learned. or of course if you're playing for fun, but this is not why people clicked on this video ;)
@@lust8890dude u aint go pro anyway, and messing up your life for reach immortal 2 is not worth it. And playing 2 or 3 hours a day is enough to play decent and be good in a videogame
Just found your channel so underrated ngl you earned yourself a new sub ❤

thx for the advice i will focus more on those stuff
of course
You'll see more value playing 4 games every day for 4 days than playing 16 games in one day.
Just how the brain works, for consistent results, you need consistent application and practice.
Regardless to whatever any youtuber or high ranked player may say, mechanics are one of the if not the most important thing(s) in valorant soloQ, so yes train your mechanics and train them equally (not just your aim, but your movement and shooting hygiene as well)
yes, i agree, and i appreciate the view as well as the effortful comment it means a lot!
Yeah practice body hygiene as well smelly mfs
Taeb talking about good mental and comms KEKW I watch this man mald for hours on stream every week🤣

yo, probably the best video i've seen so far on this subject. you've just put litarally almost everything you need to know into 3 minutes. great job bro
Appreciate you
This video alone is so much better than 80% of the valorant guides
appreciate you!
I’m only silver 2 but the moment I started a consistent warm up routine before playing comp I instantly started ranking up from bronze 1 this year. It definitely makes you feel like you have agency over the game and your mechanics as opposed to just jumping into games cold and getting dumpstered.
yeah warming up is important
Honestly this is a great video and I’ve been trying to tell people this stuff too. I’ve only been immortal once kinda stuck ascendant 2 for a bit but also haven’t been grinding in awhile. Consistent good practice is the key to consistent good gameplay. There are no shortcuts. Nothing beats experience so you just gotta be bad and get some till you aren’t.
i appreciate it a lot

Finally someone who brings it to the point. I'll preface this by saying I'm familiar with Zapper's content, and I admire that he's willing to post videos on things he is currently learning/working on. Some people learn better by teaching, could be his way of helping himself implement the things he is learning.
2:00 I'll play devils advocate on this point. The point of thinking before the round is: what your plan will be going into the round should be decided before the round.
I like to view every round of Valorant as if it were a game of chess. You should have openers/strats that you can execute that have been thought out before the round, but like chess, you'll need to start freestyling at some point in the "midgame" of the round.
Overall I agree with most of your points, especially the point of everyone putting more weight on aim than other aspects of the game.
yeah it's fine to have a plan at the beginning of rounds, but you shouldn't stop thinking and just play mid rounds. i love you

Great video brother, I’d have to say though as a former immortal 3 player, there are some points here that I disagree with for “most” players. Everyone is different and while focusing on crosshair may be great for a small percentage of players I think rather than focusing on crosshair you focus on the enemy’s heads. Especially for someone who aim trains often if you need to adjust your crosshair it is easier to adjust when you are focused on their head rather than the enemy player being in your peripheral. I can go in depth on this if people would like.
yeah i mean for me it's kind of like a hazy emphasis on my crosshair with my eyes waiting for react to an enemy, especially in longer ranged duels.
i got super tilted today and this is kind of inspiring. i always blame everything on my aim
glad to help
actual w advice. thank you for the video.
of course, check out my discord and twitch if you have some time!
well said brother ive seen so many of those bs videos in my recommended like that and i always believe hard work will equal RR and ranking up
so real + true
i think the autopilot in rounds and thinking in between rounds was a tip woohoojin gave to jeyg because him thinking in rounds is affecting his performance
fair enough i don't want to argue about it i just don't think that it's correct
@wavytaeb this was advice to a specific student who was better at aiming than the people around him in immortal3.
It was just so he would take more duels and overheat more. The overheating more I think most people can benefit from but this advice was specific to 1 student and is an exception not the rule.
@@wavytaeb I think this was specific advice to a radiant player for that game, not something for everyone
thats what I was thinking, but JeyJ has better aim than his peers in his rank so woohoojin wants him to abuse his godlike aim.
It's just important to know how to differentiate between the two. Like you have to be able to switch between the "AIM" and "THINK" state in the middle of a round in order to get the best performance. Atleast that's what I try to do
Awesome video, great advice!
glad u enjoyed
holy shit. you completely changed my mindset. thank you.
you're welcome
Yoo master complete, how long did it take for you to get there? And what is your first benchmark?
i think i hit master complete at around 400 hours, and my first gm score at a few under 500.
As an Immortal 3 for 3Episodes I finally decided to put in effort and time into reaching radiant and currently at 500 RR sadly the Cap keeps rising and it’s currently 659Rr which is pretty annoying but i will get there
you can do it, i know the feeling. you just gotta keep grinding.

Personally I find my biggest downfall in this game is focusing too much on what my team-mates are doing and not on myself. The games I do the best are always the games where i just forget about what my teams doing and just focus on doing the best I can.
try to focus on yourself 👍🏽
i know for a fact the thing keeping me from getting out of ascendant this act isn't my aim or crosshair placement, its definitely mental, teamplay, timings and other things. My team mates often do not wish to collaborate at all and troll instead of trying
mute trolls lock in
Man dropping the word of the gods like damn. Pretty much an immediate sub from me

Love the video man! I believe this will enhance my gameplay and get me higher, hopefully get high plat-diamond
thanks man i really appreciate it. you can hit any rank you want to if you put in the work.
I was immortal 2 this few days ago.. i was 10 points shy from immortal 3 and after i lost so many games two games with hackers {cause i reported nd riot gave me a thanking msg that they were caught) but after that i kept on losing.. all minus kd prior to this i was always 20 k above most games and i dropped to as3.. My head pains when i play i feel like I am putting to much pressure but i dont know what to do exactly how to get rid of this slump..
Instalock reyna, hard carry your dumbass team, evil arc begins.
hey man don't worry about it. if you're still playing after being so close to imm 3 it just means you don't have ranked anxiety which is really good. take a break, queue up, and do your best.
I would just take a break for like a day then go back in
This is the truth for all games and most things in life. Literally just gotta play more. It's how the brain works. The reason why people are good is because their brain is literally built to be good at that. Playing something for hours a day, everyday, for weeks, months, and years, your brain will literally adapt to do that thing more efficiently. Now don't hop on for hours and turn your brain off and auto pilot. You still gotta learn new things and put in the work.
exactly. thank you for the well thought out comment and for watching.
Agreed, your last sentence is the most important part. Too many people have spent 100s-1000s of games hardstuck in low elo autopiloting soloqueue.
Ur voice when combined with this music is just so calming man
thanks
this is the best advice I've actually heard I am an apex player/content creator and I have taken a few dips into valo and every video is talking about Crosshair placement. no one ever talks about time spent and how to actually practice to get better good vid very good vid
thanks i appreciate it
i usually find myself actually focusing en seeing the targets and just adjusting my crosshair to what i see, not see if my crosshair is in the head or not. This made me way more consistent in every fps that i play. And i believe having a preround plan is good, but adjusting to the info you get its way more important to be a good player. Other thing is a lot of people that i see spam 20 games a day and say they are not consistent and im like "mf you autopilot 90% of those games ofc you are not going to be as consistent as someone who plays 4 to 6 games full focused trying to improve instead of RNG his way up the leaderboard by getting carried most of his games.
thanks for sharing!
i agree with this entire comment
To be more consistent, you should play more inconsistent games and just play the game 24/7

thank you for subbing and watching. keep working and if you ever need help i'm here ☺️
As a VCT Qual Player even I find myself being inconsistent. From my experience there are two things that are the key to success and good gameplay.
1. Take breaks. Reset your mental after a few bad rounds by standing up and focus on something in your room or outside your window to create a new sense of space and reality of the situation. Take deep breaths, and hop back in with a new mindset.
2. Maintain positive vibes. Yelling at teammates and raging isn't gonna do anything good for you or your team. If you have that problem, refer to #1. By staying positive, supportive, and caring, you will often find more success through that moral boost. Competitive games can be as much as a mental issue as a skill issue, and it's important to draw that separation.
thanks for the tips o_0
0:52 aint no way bro just blinded his teammates and smoked heaven 2 times this the omen on my team that insta lock omen istg and holds the entire team hostage by saying i will run it down if "something"

Pog blinding teammates increases ACS try it if u don’t believe me 😎
Trust me this helped to hear. Thank you.

i appreciate you, thanks for watching.
even if you hate the advice given,
It's awfully true tbh. Majority of the people think immortal elo is like 9 out of 10 players in the lobby are great, skillfully aimed, and each with 160 IQ.
Nahh it ain't really like that. And it's actually more anti-climatic from what people think elo differences is.
Competitive games in Valorant with the higher elo it goes.
Each game is basically just a thinking marathon. And every round/every game is truthfully based on whose person with a better tolerance of mental strain & whose better awareness-wise.
I used to think everything is going to be entirely skill-based but realizing how being more mentally aware branches out even alot more than what you think it is.
p.s. 'I would love to know the BGM used in the video'

Competetive Fortnite taught me these lessons a long time ago and I've applied them to Valorant with some success. I am a rather consistent player and the only thing keeping me back most days is mental and volume of matches I can play (life lol). I stick to short routines I can do everyday. I found the sense and crosshair that works for me and never changed it once. I do actively focus on aim and crosshair placement, but only when I notice it deteriorating. Rather, I focus more on game sense, positioning, and coordination during matches. This is the realest advice anyone could give.
i was also a comp fort player 💀
@@wavytaeb Lol. I don't miss any of it for even a minute. 4 years of grinding wasted when I could have been on Valorant.
This is very true. A lot of people love looking for shortcuts (try this crosshair, try this sens, use only this gun...) or even just looking at a bunch of videos on how to get better. I once had a friend send me 5+ hours of guides on Valorant. That's nice but too much. Spending 5 hours watching how to get better will never be more effective compared to playing 5 hours. Most of the best players of any game ever didn't get good by getting coached or by watching guides, they got good by simply playing the game.
no shortcuts baby all work.
