Thanks for sharing. I can still walk with MS and hope to stay on my feet for as long as possible.
This is why getting diagnosed early is so critical as well as treatment.
Im a couple of days late listening to this, but it’s SO TIMELY. I’m beginning to experience difficulties walking, and considering using my walker more. Thanks heaps Brett - use it or lose it hey?
Use it or lose it!
I lost a lot of strength and I’ve spent a few years in a wheelchair. I was capable of walking but weakness along with baclofen weakening too many muscles it was impossible to stand. If you can’t stand you can’t walk. Everyone was under the impression I had deteriorated but I recently began rehab and learnt my problem is de-conditioned muscles. Cutting the baclofen and two weeks of rehab I am now standing and my walking has improved. I still have a long way to go but the fact is it is way easier to maintain what you have rather than regain what you had
Hi Brett. Very keen to hear more on the research in Reading. Thanks for the video. Ruth
I'm no fan of the WHO, but it has published a paper Titled Covid19 can Induce Multiple Sclerosis. I had already decided not to have the booster. Now I feel I am correct in doing so. Are the MS charities talking about this at all I wonder. Wishing you well.
Are there any research studies on childhood emotional trauma and incidence/severity of MS?
I would be a good subject
