Both Will Power and Hope have good arguments in favor for them although I do agree with the video. MM does have a lot of hope for other people but I think it's more so Will Power that drives him. He's constantly pushed to his limits both for himself and others but his tremendous will power is what helps him endure the pain. I think the scene where he decides not to kill Soldier Boy highlights this

I think Huey would be an amazing Blue Lantern. He's just so positive, no matter what life throws at him he never lets it hold him back, he's always trying to get through to the end. And it's not like how most shows portray this mindset, he's not overly positive or blindly optimistic, you genuinely see him struggle to just stay happy. But he keeps pushing on and he's able to find joy in his life. After his mom left he started to admire how hard his father worked to keep him happy. After Robin died he took a chance to actually get closure for her death. When he was feeling anxious about his situation with Vought he still took the time to cheer up a complete stranger(Annie in episode 1)When Annie came out with her Sexual Harassment he didn't hesitate to try and comfort her, and so on. He's genuinely just a nice dude, and I love how the writers made his character.
Season 1 huey maybe but not anymore. He’s turned too much into Butcher. A blue ring would never even look for him.
@@flolikeyou6053 Being a kind person isn't a requirement to be a Blue Lantern. You just have to be hopeful, and never lose faith in your quest to succeed. Technically someone like Butcher could be a Blue Lantern, his drive to win despite the odds makes him the most hopeful person in the franchise. He's put up against actual Gods and doesn't hesitate to fight back. He's a bastard, but a bastard with conviction.
@@allforone3427 being a nice person is definitely a requirement. There’s no blue lantern that’s not a really nice and benevolent individual.

@@flolikeyou6053 It's not a requirement for the Ring to seek you out. Lantern Rings don't look for members based on morality. The best example being Sinestro, who despite being evil and even killing his predecessor was still accepted by the Ring. It even allowed him to use it to subjugate his own people for who knows how long. It wasn't until after the Corp found out that his Ring was taken. It probably would've stayed with him for the rest of his life otherwise. Or a Red Lantern who despite being part of a Corp that's fueled by rage and carried out massive acts of evil and galactic terrorism was still a good individual. He was chosen because he had to watch his world fall into chaos and felt furious that he was powerless to stop it. It only left him after he no longer felt angry. He had found a sort of family in the Red Lantern Corp, and willingly gave it up. You don't have to morally align with the Ring/Corp to be chosen, you just have to strongly feel the emotion that it represents.
Personal opinion I’d throw my hat in the ring and say Butcher could also be a green lantern. The sheer force of will he exudes is nothing short of super human. Man fights and fights and fights and gets the snot kicked out of him but doesn’t give in or up. Yeah he’s angry vengeful and brutal but that isn’t driven so much by a love of violence as it is by his desire to complete his mission.

I would go with the Yellow Lantern Corps for Kimiko over the Black Lantern Corps. Like you said, she inspires a lot of fear (and I feel, has felt a lot of fear in her life, fear for the fate of her brother, fear for her friends, fear for what might happen to Frenchie) and her ability to truly resurrect, would be a bit the antithesis of the Black Lantern rings who reanimate dead members and only allow them to walk the Earth as long as they wear their rings. Kimiko doesn't need the Black Lantern ring for that... So, yeah, I would also pick Fear over Death for her.

The only problem is that the Indigo Lanterns of Compassion take the opposite. They straight up take criminals, and people who have wronged others in order for them to atone for their sins. They are slaves to their corps.
Love the lantern corps videos. Don’t know how/if it would work but would be cool to see a lantern corps video around fan favourite characters from franchises that don’t need a full video. Like Rick grimes or jack ryan. I know they’re from universes without superpowers but it’s all hypothetical anyway
The boys is a rare exception when the adaptation is better than the source material
I think kimiko's lantern core is love, she loves franchie, hughie and starlight and her brother and she would do anything to keep them safe

Translucent - no ring (we saw very little of his character)

I’n sorry, but no. Kumiko is compassion. She didn’t take the v again to make others fear her, she did it so she would be strong enough to protect the others. She cares about Frenchie the most (obviously), but she definitely cares about Hughie, MM, and Starlight a lot too.

I’d somewhat agree with Willpower, however, as you said, the Green Ring is about sticking out situations, no matter what happens. MM is a very powerful character in willpower, however a major point for him (at least to start) is that he doesn’t want to get back in the fight, and looks for every opportunity to leave it when shit gets at its lowest. It’s noble, to be sure, and the right thing to do- but a Green Lantern would have viewed the circumstance and powered through it, rather than try to leave it.
