Anyone using Vergis already for CB?
I use him in CB for his defense abilities. I'm fairly new to the game.
I have some good CB heroes but I haven't fully built them yet. Still learning the game.
Frozen Banshee, Coffin Smasher, Steel Skin, Occult Brawler, Apothecary, Kael, Vergis...
I use those heroes and swap them out here and there.. Most are not fully built. I'm struggling to get my Frozen Banshee to work. She only hits at around 50k damage and I hear she is supposed to be one of the best CB heroes. My Coffin Smasher blows her away in CB..
@@outlawgt3045 It's because you're building her wrong. She needs books, her a3 should be booked, and her a1 can be booked or not but booked is better. She will easily deal more damage than Coffin Smasher. OB is better than Kael, take out Kael.
OB, Coffin Smasher, Vergis, Apo, then someone like FB/SteelSkull is a much better team for early game.
Outlaw GT probably just needs more accuracy. She’s a great poisoner - though to be fair with counter attack. OB is better without.
I have him and was considering to use since the only two i have with ally protect is him and nazana... but it seems that i cant find proper guides on vergis out there...

Awe man, this was one of the most interesting CC vids of 2020. I've had Vergis for a while now and I keep looking at him wanting to do something with him. On good days I'm 3 keying UNM, so I'm not sure if I'll squeeze him in but this was super interesting.

I just pulled him after watching your stream the other day! I'm in the middle of getting my Zavia and Sepulcher going. I might wait until the rebalance and just prep food for that in case some of my crap champs become good and good become crap!

@@pleasedont7439 Oh no .. not for CB ... just in general. My CB team is currently Skullcrusher, frozen banshee, coffin smasher, bulwark and apothecary ... i'll sub out Sepulcher for coffin smasher.
Zavia is more for dungeons, and I need some better gear and higher dungeon levels. That's why she's important to me right now.

Well, I have a Vergis since a few months, I love his kit and his good looking armor. Now I see I can use him in my CB it's perfect !
i was using Rhazin, Sepulcer, FB, SC and Sandlashed, but I was struggling to hit that enough speed for Sepulcher with my gear, and sandlashed isn't booked... Vergis is, and helps me lower the speed of Sepulcher. First try I hit 25.7M on NM (haven't tried UNM yet) with him, so thank you !! I think it will be more consistent than my previous comp who hit between 16M and 22M, but with more RNG effect cause I couldn't speedtune it. Now there space for improvement in terms of gearing !

@deadwoodjedi thanks for this. Was looking for a reason to 6 vergis after buff. Only thing missing is decrease def so instead I use crusher for counter. Zelotah for first slam vergis second slam sept stun slam. After first 2 rounds as u said, 100% auto!

Vergis is definitely underrated. I use him on one of my alt accounts in clan boss and dungeons. I don't have counterattack on that account though. Mostly he's there to soak up damage and boost speed on one champ (since I have no good defense aura champs, that's usually Frozen Banshee).
Current team is FB, Vergis, Peydma, Rhazin and either Longbeard or Occult Brawler depending on affinity. Right now it does around 15-17mil on NM. My next swap will be to add Grizzled Jarl to that 5th spot for block debuffs and increase defense. Hopefully that pushes me into 2 key!
Thank you for this super creative tune! I'm looking to do something similar but not sure how to make my changes fit. I'm looking to run Sepulcher Sentinel, Vergis, Vizier, Occult brawler and Sand Slashed.
Once I can get sepulcher fast enough to not need the speed boost I plan on replacing Vergis with Toragi.
In the meantime, which speed slot would sandslashed best fit into? I'm assuming it matters very much because of her buff extension.

I just made a team comp for my clan mate with
skullcrown 204 (lead and stun tank)
frozen banshee 186 (dps)
tayrel 177 (dec def and atk)
vergis 177 (Ally protect and speed)
brogni 176 for his shield
the speed works really well both in nightmare and unm but it'll be perfect if tayrel are swap with hellborn sprite for the extend so brogni's shield can last for the 2nd AOE

Great vid DWJ - just wondering if you could shed some light. For Sentinel, if she double turn before AOE2 - without Vergis, she will not have Ally protection going into the AOE2 correct? So in another team without double ally protection, she will be susceptible to more damage from the 2nd AOE ? Any way to make this work better? Thanks

Man, if only I had Venus! Have all the others, also have Vizier, Bad El, Rhazin and Altan. Edit: just realized he mentions Rhazin and Frozen Banshee. I'm going to try to do this with SS, Vergis, Vizier, SC and FB.
What? That's a terrible team imo. Use SkullCrusher, Bek, Altan, Vizier, Rhazin, much better team, and us easier to tune basically just a 1:1 ratio.
Make sure Altan is lead, Bek cleanses debuff, poisons comes from him, lot of Survivability, no lifesteal needed, EZ UNM.

Hello DeadwoodJedi, very interesting team you built there! On NM I used Sepulcher, Skullcrusher, Frozen Banshee, Rhazin and Vizier. Now we unlocked UNM and I ask myself if based on your Vergis team Sepulcher, Skullcrusher, Frozen Banshee, Vizier and Vergis could work and also do better than my old team composition? :-)

This probably won't be seen since this is over a year old but I'm using this team with Fayne and Vogoth looking to replace Vogoth with some one else that has leech and does more damage. I have Corpse collector , Ghrush, Rugnor or Uugo for leech, i make it just past 50 turns now but which would you suggest to replace vogoth? thanks awsome videos
Rugnor does the most damage (turn off his a2) but hard to keep alive and ghrush is a great healer. Skip uugo I think. My fav build. Enjoy!

Really struggling with teams here with no unkillable and no counter attack - if you didn't have a counter attack here what is the best option to use in that spot, or does this just kind of not do enough damage without the counter?

Hey DeadwoodJedi, I was wondering if you know of a 2:1 UNM speed team with Ma'Shalled where he goes 1st, 2nd or 3th ? I need to have skullcrusher and grizzlejarl go last and second last, otherwise my comp doesn't work.

I am in the middle of ranking a second Skullcrusher for Ally Protect reasons but now wonder if I should do Vergis instead. My SS is 229 speed at the moment so if I understand this video, I may need to slow her down. Currently, doing about 20m on UNM.
Doesn't work without a Venus at all tho, I'd guess, since she slots into the role of Def down/Weaken, HP-Burn (which can be done by Bulwark tbf) and Poison. You either have to go for Def down and weaken or poisons, missing out on the other part though, making the team without her not viable at all in my opinion.
whats so crazy? AI am using Frozen Banshee A2 to get lilithu 2 turns and buff her A2 right before 2nd AOE. And It lasts to stun. All team in invisibility, so all colours will hit lilithu. And bosses cant give AOE2 debuff to the team

Hello, thank you very much for helping us with your knowledge and sharing it with the community, I have a concern and I hope you can help me.
I have SS 4: 3 in nightmare with 230 speed, she attacks 2 times before the second AoE of the boss but skullcrusher ends the turn and should finish it SS, therefore, when the boss uses the stun skullcrusher he does not have to block debuff and all the Others of the team yes, I increased the speed of skullcrusher from 171 to 174 and it still does not work, any suggestions or tutorials to look at ?.

I wonder if I could get this similar setup to work with my team. I have Valkyrie, Sepulcher, Frozen Banshee, Occult Brawler, Coffin Smasher. I can comfortably 3 key NM and I last until around round 30 but I'm not speed tuned at all because of lack of speed gear. I do have pretty good defense on all the champs. I wonder if I swap out OB and CS for Vergis and bulwark how it would go. Or even just swap out OB for Vergis for the speed buff on Sepulcher....
I run a me pk unm comp do you think steel skulls defense up would throw off my stun target? I use bulwark and it has been a struggle to keep the CB off pk.

@@DeadwoodJedi I use brawler aothar and or banshee depending on affinity but aothar get the least damage kinda want to go a different route there. I did get richtoff during the 2x but he's still undeveloped. And thanks for the reply.

And against a Normal nightmare, i am doing 12mil in the best case scenario. Any chance of you getting in my account and adjusting to make a video for people with the same problem? i know the chances of you reading this message is tiny, and to do this even less since i know your time have a much more value. On the other hand, once i applyed for Hells Kitchen Brazil third edition, and i won the reality show. So even with low chances, why not to try? Is counter-attack mandatory here? What could I replace SC with?
I need someone to carry my teams trough Dungeons (mainly Dragon) and CB, who would think i should invest in: Vergis, CrisonHelm or RockBreaker? CB team atm is Cupidus(L), Kael, Brakus, Gorgorab, Coffin Smasher... also have Bulwark and FB but they are not ready yet...

Yes, towering titan is terrible-decent.
Robar is not for CB, he is squishy.
Yes definitely better than those two. Jizoh - haven’t used in forever - but can be good with the single ally CA. TT I’m not super familiar with, but Vergis is a solid champ. I’d go with Vergis if those are my options - I’ll have a more detailed champ guide in a few days.

I have a separate team for clan boss although I do use some of my arena heroes for CB too. I try different combinations of heroes.
These 4 heroes are my main heroes so far..
People in my old clan told me Vergis was not a good hero.. But from what I seen, he is one of my best..
I think I will go ahead and take Vergis to 6 pink stars. The only thing he is missing is an aura but it's not a big deal
