PlateUp! Solo Automated Pizza Overtime 15 Full Run

pretty good seed with really fortunate cards making a full auto setup feasible for reaching overtime day 15. i think it could maybe be pushed an extra day depending on the group sizes that come out.
i did originally aim to reach OT15 on this seed but i didn't have much hope, not knowing what the final 2 cards would be. at many points towards the end i didnt think i could improve on the setup and so removed my cabinets to make up space, but then found a way to make it slightly better. fortunately its a pizza run and i had no shortage of coins to reroll.
also trying to fit everything in on a map this small was painful but it worked eventually.
if you want to recreate this setup using the seed just know there was a lot of quitting out and retrying days until i got what i wanted out of a research desk. also i'd recommend skipping out on the cloth tables as the extra cash isnt really necessary with better planning and caused a ton more resets.
also note if you want to recreate this run the entire uncut footage was roughly 6 hours.

This is like that one episode of Futurama. "He got that place running so efficiently, all the physical labor is done by a single Australian man".
they do have fully automated restaurants in japan that's only has a couple people to make sure things don't go to shit.

Bruh, just watched that clip and was recommended this
The overtime was him making big money as a dishwasher
From pizza chef to dish washer
Love how the microwave catches fire purely because you missed the cheese
Love it when customers enter the restaurant and sit down at a table that already has a piece of pizza on it, eat it without hesitation and leave, something I myself have done many times
Best Moment is 16:09 with the two customers fighting

i like how its a restaurant at first then slowly became a factory
Nice! I definitely learned a few tips and extra things I didn't know(such as tables pull from adjacent conveyors). Loved the "I'm not panicking" accidental plate pizzas with nowhere to put them on early days. I probably would have automated my pizza making a lot earlier than OT 3, you could definitely tell you were feeling the pressure there before you automated it.
yeah i definitely made it harder for myself by taking cabinet spaces up with tables insteaad of sticking with smart grabbers the whole time. i dont think i needed the extra 50% considering i ended with 12k
Just a bit more space and a few coffee tables, and it would last until OT 20
yeah, the seed had nice cards but a pretty small map. although I think that taking dishes off of the tables fast enough would always be the bottleneck in this system
@@skizol I've always wondered why people made tables connect to each other when they could connect tables directly to dishracks and then to each other. Because the table in front basically has to deal with all the plates of the previous tables.
I get that it would interfere with delivering pizza's in this scenario, but since the delivery system ends at the tables, you can use a longer route. In this kitchen, that means only 2 tables instead of 3, but once a customer leaves, the next one can sit down ASAP. While with the 3 table setup, you'd initially serve customers faster, but you'd have 2 tables unavailable even though both tables are empty
@@skizol the Charming theme helps with this set up cuz it allows people to sit with dishes on table on max upgrade
Just love that cooking a pizza without cheese will put the microwave oven on fire 27:40
cheese is the only thing holding my restaurant together

someones gonna make a cheezy joke in this reply section, i can feel it.

The hard part is optimizing the ability to not have dirty dishes cycle through other tables to prevent a blockade of dishes
There is that, but the fancy tables I think have more to do with it. I'll be honest, I didn't watch the whole thing, just jumped around, but I would be very surprised if they hadn't skipped on a few sides to avoid the extra complication in automation. Going metal tables allows him to grab those sides and take advantage of the reduction in customers (which would also make the dirty dishes less of an issue). My current run is at day 17 and I have almost 125 fewer customers than this one. Which kind of makes it even more impressive, to be honest.
I think this video got recommended to me because i watch sykkuno and friends playing plate up.
On the pizza automation you can grabber the oil on to a combiner that is facing a sink and have a grabber put flour into the sink. That makes pizza dough fast then a mixer.
Nice to know, thanks. However the bottleneck in pizza creation in my setup was the safety hob, which I eventually swapped out for a normal hob once demand outpaced the supply. On a larger map though that could definitely be useful to keep up with multiple hobs.
Right but the mixer is idle most of the time, and it's not even rapid. Probably not an issue until very, very late.
It was almost perfect! I think instead of the counter next to the 2 tables at the bottom, a dish rack might've saved the run a bit longer since the dishes kept waiting one by one instead of keeping it pushing
Absolute gigabrain 5head legendary genius strat right there... Sykkuno needs to see this lol
your head does not hurt because when I thought about how these mechanisms (overtime) work, you really have a big brain time
Oh my god... ITS BEAUTIFUL
This is nearly as satisfying to watch as those videos of random things being crushed in a hydraulic press
amazing run, the only thing I would've done differently, and probably you already knew this- but the counter between the two big tables which was for the dirty dishes buffer- should've been the dish rack. :)
also you could have fed the dirty plates into another dirty dish rack on the leftmost wall above where the customer is sitting. That and the 2 extra conveyors above would have freed up a lot of congestion
Such a good run it was.....really ingenious way you've used those conveyors and mixers👏
When Mumbo Jumbo discovers PlateUp
Omg I didn’t realize you can build the pizza inside the oven!!! This will save a counter top from being used!!!! Omg game changer
You don't need to go out for a practice run, you can pause the game and select practice from wherever you are standing!
If you're wondering, true automation starts at 1:15:00

I would love to see another video of this with a different layout and another type of food.
I enjoy watching this game sm even though I cant afford to get it! Maybe one day. Super fun to watch and I'm definitely subscribing
Looking at this crazy automation makes me realize they really need an upgrade or sidegrade to the dishwasher. There should be one that automatically closes and starts washing when it got 4 dirty dishes in it then automatically opens when it is done.
Yeah it is far more time effiecent too, 24 Dirty Plates washed in a Minute in the Dishwasher, verses just under 9 Dirty Plates in the Soaking Sink. Charming or Faster Grabbers/conveyors would've got it past Day 15 for sure, as the Dishwasher doesn't matter if the Dishes aren't getting there fast enough, which was the issue in the end.
Early on you can save blueprints that you don't want for more reroll options the next round.
even better is that you can use copied blueprints for rerolls
Insane machine! "Pizzatron" is right.
This is the best one yet
I have been playing PlateUp! like an addict recently, and I've done really well by myself with a video or two here and there to help me figure out automation. But I am 45 seconds in and my mind has already been blown with your setup. I've definitely gotta try some of those tricks myself.
Power sink + scrubber my beloved
The automation here is insane. I have struggled so much to get the correct items to automate my restaurant, the seeds just don’t give anything
blueprint tables are the key
The problem is its also hard to get research desk then turn it to blueprint, copy, etc. once on the seed i have i only got 1 bp of research desk at day 20😂
The only thing not automated is the sink, you could use the automatic one, but since that’s too slow, there’s just a man stuck surrounded by random stuff washing dishes,
See a lot of people go exclusive, and almost feel like going cheap would be better. Eventually get instant ordering, which I noticed you had to manually do. The Buff that gives faster eating time would also be amazing for this. Although I guess the failure at the end was how fast you could clear the table.
Yeah Exclusive only really helped for the Queue Patience, can't see what his other option was either, but either Affordable for reduced Eating Time, or Charming for the Sit at Uncleared Tables, would've made life easier for sure.
Damn bro that's kinda impressive
Like, I actually don't really get the autoserve part, and I mostly never get to Overtime 7
i would love more of this kind of content! keep up the good work
This video told me i was literally playing wrong in this game lmao i've learned
I’m confused as to why 5-tops were waiting outside when an empty and clean 5-top was available??
is this the power of a god?
Perfect video for eating my meal 🗣️💥💥
So 302k people clicked on this thinking an ai would play this huh
CZcams likes this vid. I got it in my recommended, and I hadn’t actively expressed to the algorithm that I liked this or even knew this game. (Spoiler yt: I do XD) nice work in your run!
Thanks for sharing, I learned some good stuff from this!
great vid, i learned a lot. Can you explain why the outside patience timer goes super fast at the end? I see it happen in a lot of deep runs but i have no idea what triggers it
not entirely sure but I believe it's the amount of groups waiting outside, the longer the line the less patient the guests are.
It also has to do with Closing time and the Time of Day.
The Icons displaying the time of day on the queue patience are so you can differentiate how fast your patience will go down during that time of day, bumping up from a 10% gradual Decrease to Cutting your queue patience in Half.
This was a balance that was addressed to keep people from stalling the game each day around Closing time.
Adding onto this, your environment will also determine how fast your patience goes down, with your highest minimum being an active queue in the cold to your highest maximum being an active queue around Closing Time.
Environment also matters when you're making decisions about a Restaurant Plan.
I've never played a game more wrong in my life 0_o well done!
So lucky with the blueprints

this is insane!

Very efficient! I want to play a game with someone like you
Mannn I'm sad I got into the game late :/ sucks pizza is now 5 instead of 10 :(...
probably a good thing they changed it, pizza was way too broken lol. I'd imagine this run is still possible as the extra cash wasn't too necessary and I ended with far too much of it
@@skizol lol fair enough. I'm sure Pizza is one of the easiest to automate. xD I've been trying to learn that kind of thing. Tried it with fish but the bloody things keep swapping :/...
@@ImoogiNevermore The hardest part I would imagine about Automating Fish, is the Fish changing each day, so if any Frozen Prep Stations are involved, it could cause a clog in the System. I have not tried to Automate Fish though, so I could be wrong.
I LOVE IT!!!!!!! THX YPU SOOO MUCH!
WOW! Thank you this hack it really work!
That's fucked up, gg.
Only thing I couldn’t understand is why you didn’t want a dishwasher instead of the sink you used all game. You can’t tell me a dishwasher wouldn’t be so beneficial.
power sink with a brush is the fastest way to wash dishes, if a dishwasher was used im pretty sure there would be a buildup of dirty dishes. since the entire rest of the system is automated it allows me to focus all my attention on simply cleaning dishes
@@skizol Dishwasher instead of a Soaking Sink would've cleaned far more Dirty Dishes. in 1 min Dishwasher: 24 Dishes Cleaned, Soaking Sink: 8.9 Dishes Cleaned. I don't dispute the Power Sink and Scrubbing Brush as the main method of Cleaning, but I think the Dishwasher would've been a better support than the Soaking Sink; though pointless if the Dishes aren't getting there fast enough, which was indeed the main issue.
Recent Plateup automation just seems impossible. Getting cards that forces to make sides in overtime days
Not that you're probably looking to go again and re-optimize such a run, but my engineer brain thinks a big problem was not catering to the small groups. I would have set up 5 tables, with the rightmost table seating 5 people, then 4, then 3, etc down to 1 on the far left.
The trick is that customers aren't actually prevented from sitting at a table due to dirty plates that came from another table. So the leftmost table would always be used immediately and (theoretically) single customers never take up a bigger table. Similarly, the size 2 table is always free for size 2 parties. You might need two Size 5 tables instead, in case one gets taken up by overflow, but in theory the larger tables get used less often because small parties aren't clogging them.
yeah, I did try something similar to this before the the issue lies in your (theoretically) - customers of any size group will sit at any table, so in my experience I found it to be best with as many 5 seaters as possible
The only way to make it work like you are suggesting is in Multiplayer with Host Stands. There is a mod that helps with Table Assignment, but it only works with Tables that are Free, so if the Smaller Tables are Full, Smaller Parties will still sit at a Table for Larger Parties. I believe this is because the Game Prioritises Serving Customers, the moment a Table that can fit a Customer Group is Free, that Group will sit at it. With multiple Coffee Tables, the Group that has waited the longest that can fit will sit first, something I have been utilising on my Solo Runs. I have been doing Solo Runs with 1 Table for most of it, with multiple Coffee Tables, when I introduce a second Table, I will prioritise Single Parties over Couples, simply because they are quicker and that gets them off my Tables faster reducing my Queue congestion.
so cool!!
No obnoxious narration‽ Have my like, sub, and comment.

so cool
just wondering if you had cofee table in the samll room in the bottom corner would that have helped ?
definitely would have, I was lazy to not include that
@@skizol just a query is it possible to use dumb waiters to collect dirty dishes so you can make a circle of pizza dishes with more conveyer belts and ensure that there is always pizza and dishes are collected quickly?
only got a few mins in but it boggles my mind why you threw out that extra table. I think you could have done way more with the extra table. things i'd change off the back, shift everything to the left and put the table to make a 2 table group. this makes it so you can put a counter out there between the tables and still have a 2 seater group on each table. and potentially allow you to have 4 seater groups in the future if you get that card. also pushes the customers further away from you to avoid any potential messes as well. though your sink will clean up most of the mess they make, if it ends up being a tier 3 mess, then it wont. customers can be an animal when it comes to making messes. but yea, I wouldn't have thrown out that table at the start.
yeah, I guess that would make a small optimization in the early game. however the early days are trivial enough and I don't think that would have made much difference once more blueprints are bought, as I end up with plenty enough tables by the end
You were literally getting double the reward in delivering the pizza.
No Wonder you got all the blueprints you needed
this feels so sad
Devin harus tau nih!!
1:00:43 that's cool as fuck
Pizzamaxing
I started playing this game today, do you get bonuses depending on how clean the restaurant is when you close? Or is it just a waste of time? Thanks in advance!
Nope you're free to leave the restaurant a total mess with dirty floors and uncleaned plates everywhere and its fine. Guess night shift takes care of it. All that matters is that everyone leaves with a full belly and you don't mess up any orders.
already on day 1 you have these "advanced" technics according to my eyes. I guess I gotta do better
Gut gespielt Max
this had to be pre nerfed pizza?? the money look huuuge
why didnt you put the auto plater pointing at the portioner so you didn’t have to plate things up at the start
How tf this person workin wit only 2 tables😭 (im almost an hour in the vid)
what was the point of making it a revolving pizza setup? also why didnt you just add another 5 seater on the right side earlier when you had all the stuff for it?
My guess was so that there was never a wait for the Pizza, once the larger Groups became a thing.
Impressive
Crasy vid lol. I wonder if a dumbwaiter system could have been used to port away the dirty dishes from the tables quicker.
Love the video, we should collab and play this game together!!
Why can you cook a pizza on a hop
Could you have used the gap between the hob and the portioner to put a gas override to cook the pizzas faster?
potentially, but I think the production speed would outweigh the throughput of the system and cause a fire
What the trick to making so much money so early? 800 gold at day 10 for example.
for some reason different foods five different amounts of money which is one of the reasons I chose pizza, as it gives 10 per plate and is easy to produce. Combined with the cloth tables I was able to earn a lot of money quickly
@@skizol thanks!
@@skizol how are you getting 10 per plate for pizza? My game it’s 5 per plate I’m so confused by that

Those two would be boxers 17:02
hey i notice u had more room for a coffee table in the bottom right room, maybe it would help save ur run to have a bigger coffee table, food for thought if u do it again
Also nice job, you are a lot better than me
how did the two customers walking in at 2:36:48 cut everyone else in line??
There is a Coffee Table at the bottom Left Corner that can only seat 2, being a Party of 2 they could enter to sit there, but as they are doing so the left Table clears and they path to there instead, as people at the Coffee Table take Priority over those queing outside.
