- Weve had this delete kit sitting around for awhile now and finally decided to put it to good use! The factory egr valve was insanely clogged up and restrictive so now with the delete kit we should have better power, fuel economy, and air flow.

You should do an intake cleaning as well as a tune if you want to have a significant up in power/performance. Maybe a Malone stage 2. You will then have crank output at 150hp and torque at 275 😁

When you do the intake burn it out super easy check out a few of the vids first
and drill out the inter cooler with a small hole to drain any oil a put a screw into to seal it up after .....

I just blocked it off and removed the line from egr valve so I did not lose the anti shudder valve. Did clean my intake. after 390k km some stuff came out 😅 now at 448k and still solid as a rock. and only 5l/100km fuel consumption. the PD engine is the last one worth to be called a TDI in my opinion. those commonrail diesels just don't feel the same. (not saying they are all bad) just no TDI feeling like the legendary 1.9L
Best way to do it. Just needs a solid gasket on egr pipe. People thinking of getting rid of the anti shudder valve need to watch a few 'runaway diesel' videos (!)

I have golf mk4 PD100 but engine code is ATD ( it’s almost same ) and EGR off too + remap 140hp and it’s so fast ! And I have same turbo sounds it’s amazing !!!
What exact chnages did you need to make for it to have 140hp? I also have PD100 and am wondering what needs to be done. Better turbo, intakes, exhaust? Or is it just chip (remap) and EGR off?

When i did this to my 2003 polo 1.4 tdi the engine started to rattle like crazy when shutting it down. is that something you should worry about? i'm confused

Been told egr is what blocks everything up with black oil shit. Makes it run a lot cleaner. But heaters take longer to warm up?
Yeah ! Perfect, the best is take the intake manifold and clean it... now you can with vcds put the egr (n18) to 4% of efficacity if you don’t have chip in your ecu 😁
can you realy delete it with VCDS because i've searched in forums and so couldnt find a relative info ....

01- engine, 11-acces, write the code 12233 for acces and after go 03 egr, put the new code 33 768 and now you egr don’t work to 50 or 80 % efficacity but only 4%. I hope you understand my explain ^^

@@Mk3Smith the muffler delete does very little on a tdi. The cat is what keeps everything quiet on them.
i removed both of my mufflers on my skoda octavia 2.0tdi and it barely made any sound diffrence if you want sound you must remove your dpf

you wont get and eml ligt if you recode your ECU after doing an egr delete u allways need to do that anyway when removing egr. u just gotta remove egr from your ecu and your good to go

I see that it also works without a throttle valve? How is this possible? Or what is the valve in front of the agr?
Diesel car do not need throttle valve what u see in the egr the "valve" is just for shutting down the car. When u turn the key off the valve close for 1-2 sec blocking the air to go in the engine(No air = No ignition). Without the valve the car shut down "harder"" when u turn the key off the car cut the fuel supply but not the air.

U just can remove the vacuum line and block that, and the module for shuting down to stay working!

cold air intake filter straight pipe (cat, resonator and muffler delete) and a proper remap you should be pumpin 150hp easy ;)
And that is where the end is with these injectors Max 160hp,need to upgrade to ARL, ASZ injectors to Get to 230max but that necesitates an turbo upgrade and FMIC.
i have problem with EGR delete like this, i miss Engine shut off velve, it shakes a lot without it when im turning engine off

What do you think why the egr valve have that butterfly valve in? Because when you shutdown the engine after you have tó much resonance and this butterfly valve close the airline and the engine not have chance for resonation because the airline is closed. The solution is : Dont remoove the egr just close the line with one plate were the exhaustgas come back. After make egroff in software.
did same thing before 2 days😂, my car shakes like hoe after i turn it off, im goin to put back egr and just seal it from bellow so it wont suck exhaust air, yup we learn on mistakes

That's why I shouldn't remove the egr, u should remore the recirculation but not the engine brake when turn it off

nah, this works for vaccum driven flaps as far as i know

Amerikaner der Army und AirForce haben in Deutschland Immunität, die haben zwar deutsche Kennzeichen, hat aber mit unserem System nichts zu tuen. Die haben auch einen TÜV wie wir ihn kennen.
Ja aber der kan doch nicht einfach wie in usa einfach alles drauf schrauben und fahren als wäre nichts der muss doch genau so zum tüv zum eintragen wie wir denke ich weil der hat ja deutsche kenzeichen und deutsche papiere vom auto heisst muss auch dinge eintragen oder???

The $64,000 question, how do you keep the check engine from going off...especially in regards to the wastegate solenoid if the hoses are blocked off?
According to Google, a ‘chip tune’ will fix/turn off the light.

Diesel engine speed is controled by fuel not air. The throttle plate only closes on shutdown to stop the engine faster.

injectors from ASZ/ARL/BPX buy FMIC and u can make 250HP and 450-500Nm
Power gains are almost nobe, the engine will take longer to warm up, clean air in intake, increase of nox and when u turn of the engine it shakes, if your turbo fail, good luck trying to stop him. U should remove the recirculation and leave the engine brake

As like any (good working )vacuum egr put a 6mm ball bearing in the vacuum pipe but do nothing with the anti shudder valve as one day your probably be happy you had it. That way egr is deleted no parts needed other then a 6mm ball bearing pop it in the vac pipe looks stock and you can save cash for a 35bhp tuning box at £20 tips from a wise old man lol
Put a k&n air filter on the tdi it wil sound way better, have one on mine too ;)

I believe you will get worse mpg after egr delete, since you are no longer burning unburned fuel. Yes your intake will be cleaner and not all sooty. Maybe a little better performance. I've contemplated deleting before since my county doesn't have emissions but heard from many to keep the emissions system intact if you care about fuel economy which I do.
It's more apparent in cold climates. Fuel economy goes to crap. The egr doesnt plug up all that bad if you Remember to boot the thing once in a while. The heavy soot build up you see in pictures is from cars that are never revved out. If you do a reasonable amount of highway driving you'll never have an issue. There are chip tunes that cycle the egr to maintain cold start performance and fuel economy, they kick the egr off once the car reaches operating temperature

Fun fact: you can disable the EGR via software
You’ve fitted the gasket wrong, 7.58 minutes in. That gasket needs to go underneath the blocking plate, not on top of it. Might want to check that for any leaks..

PD means pump deuse, VP means VorLade Pump.
VP have a high rotative injector pump and PD is like common rail, each injector is a pump

Just unplug the vakuum hose for the egr valve and that will do exactly the same 😆.
Even better, you keep the shudder valve on the car.
