I loved Brett as a kid but, now he seems to exist for the sake of bad mouthing all the young talent coming up. So what about what he did 25 years ago. Kurt was more technically skilled, the greatest Olympic wrestler ever, and now spends all his time building up the wrestlers coming up.
Even if they were equal (something about winning gold despite a broken neck against the best ever means they aren't close) Kurt's has to count more because of what he's doing with it.
We as fans chanted you suck. But we loved watching him wrestle. He was damn good at it. He's arguably in the top 10 all time.

Kurt used to have fun with it too lol. I remember on Raw a while back where he came out and told the crowd “I’m going to go back and do this walk out again. And when I do: you better not be saying it!” So he goes back, restarts his whole entrance, and of course the crowd chanted it again. He did that like three times and on the fourth the crowd had upgraded from “you suck” to “fcuk you” 🤣🤣🤣

I loved how they took this hard ass olympic amateur wrestler from Pittsburg, and made him one of the best comic relief guys in the WWE.

Angle is a legend! I rewatch his matches over and over and over again. He was just phenomenal in every way. Obviously he was an amazing wrestler, but he also amazing on the mic, good personality, and just everything it takes to be one of the all around greatest wrestlers.
Kurt just seems like such a chill dude, a man who achieved a lot in his life and is happy with that and his lot in life. Got out of wrestling fairly healthy and he is glad

I’m glad to hear that it never really bothered him. Not that I think wrestlers think we really hate them but there are those delusional people in the fandom that really take things to far and since that chant was around for years now that he still lets it roll off his shoulders cause he is one of the greats from the attitude era into ruthless aggression.

Go back and watch his first entry into WWE and see how long it took him to become EuroContinental Champion. He knew right away you want a reaction, whether it’s cheers or boos.
The moment Kurt comes to the ring in his black attire and cuts his music and demands respect and they do it over and over. You realise Kurt loves the interaction and the crowd love Kurt, he could really work a crowd.
