THE VIEW from THE SHARD - The wonderful skyscraper overlooking London

Taking advantage of the promotion of January 2019 - reduced admissions of 50%, then 16 pounds instead of 32 ... we visited the wonderful skyscraper "The Shard" (La Scheggia, intended as the glass shard) designed by the great Italian architect Renzo Piano.
The Shard, also known as Shard of Glass and initially named London Bridge Tower, is a skyscraper in the Southwark district of London.
Opened in 2012, with its 309.67 meters of height, it is the tallest building in London, as well as the fifth highest skyscraper in Europe and the 67th in the world.

Ciao Silvia e benvenuta nel Canale 😊 dai la prossima volta non perdere l'occasione, e nemmeno quella di andare allo Sky Garden (che, tra l'altro, e' gratuito), noi stessi non potevamo immaginare che sensazione forte potesse dare un'altezza del genere...
