  • It's been a busy week, Victoria has just gone back into 6 weeks of COVID induced restrictions, I feel very grateful to have a project to work on during these times.

    you could inset the LEDs into the wheel well such that the LED surface is flush with surface skin ...

    wow ... aren't you worrying on structural rigidity of the box with a big slide out? is that actuator made to carry 200K at the end of the platform ? with a slide out, you ll really need to put the truck level?

    Nice!
    Question: how will you keep the shiny piston things in the actuators clean while driving? (from sand, road soot, bulldust and the like)

      Not sure yet, I could make some covers for them. The actuator body has a seal to stop dust and dirt from entering. Because they're electric the rod doesn't need as much protection as if they were hydraulic because the end seal is not containing any fluid.
