    Greetings from Indonesia Sir, i have some questions for my final college project, the project is Use Radiolink Pixhawk 2.4.8 for Semi Autonomous with Waypoint Plan mission drop the water balloons (means prototype from Extinguisher Balls), the question is, is the BEC or UBEC (like adapter) is necessary to use when i wiring servo through the same battery (just use 1 battery), sorry for my bad English 😅

    I'm still new to this. But no. 3 is unknown. The first question is why is it unknown with a value number mean? How did you know that it was supposed to be released. 2nd question is how did you create a device to grab and release?

      The "Unknown" option allows for the addition of new commands that are not included in the standard command list.
      The value entered corresponds to the command ID for arming/disarming, as specified in the copter's version available in the library.
      The servo release command is then executed after the disarm command, followed by a delay command.

    Good work Kathik.But some of the settings which we have to do in full param list. Without that this autonomous mission can not be achieved.

    can you share the details of payload drop mechanism device that you used in this demoinstration?

      Servo is used to release the Payload, and it is connected to one of the auxiliary ports. Servo open/close command is added to the mission.

      Connect the servo to any one of the aux out and enable the respective SEROX_FUNCTION.

      Hi..
      Connect servo to any aux port on pixhawk then configure it. SERVO X to RC X. Servo no. to one of your RC channel.

      Manual: Go to full parameter list_Servo9 for Aux1(Connect servos on aux1) Change Min, Max values as you required..
      Auto: While planning mission, add Do_Set_Servo & Enter PWM as it is required..
