I am always intrigued by the narrative that a project’s true measure is determined by its ability to solve the infamous trilemma(decentralization, security, and scalability). I am hoping in your comparisons, that could be integrated as talking points for the audience. There are three concerns of ICP, that I haven’t been able to reconcile, and they are partnerships, venture capital, and cost to become a node operator. That would be fabulous, if those concerns could also be incorporated. Most of my interests are with ICP and Hedera Hashgraph, so that would be neat if HBAR could be added to your comparison list for king of the hill. Thanks
good list. I think covering the technology behind the chains and the properties of the chain also would be good things to look at. For example, storage on chain comparison with Eth and Sol which are ICP's main competitors. Comparison with competitors would be good too as well as how decentralized a network is. I like that you listed developer experience, its a key part of getting them onboard.
Just started taking the plunge into learning more about Web3 and came across ICP this morning. When I was learning about Web3 I had questions about certain limitations, some of which seems to have been answered by ICP. As a Computer Science major, I think I'm going to invest into this space while its still growing. Like your vids man!

Nice list and looking forward for the analysis. I would add though that there are non-functional / "soft" requirements that could make or break the narrative. Like enabling full-stack or not. Protocol governed entirely by DAO or not. Direct interoperability with bitcoin or via bridges. All weighing heavily towards ICP. Keep up the good work. 🙏
In regards to adding nodes, IC has reached topology goal. "This means that the IC network currently does not require any additional node machines in order to reach its decentralization targets. Therefore, DFINITY will not vote to adopt any proposals for new node machines being added to the IC network. Once the subnets are reaching capacity and more subnets are required to run all applications, the community may decide to increase the target topology again and allow additional node machines to the network."

I only see web2 companies use icp to reduce cyber security costs other than that I don't see any reason why a developer should host their infrastructure on icp when they cant generate revenue there by decentralized version of their dapp
How can I verify what percent of architecture a dapp is hosting on Icp I can see projects claiming fully on chain while they only host a small portion of their infrastructure on icp and other on tradional aws cloud
Hedera is a decentralized database, ICP is a decentralized computing platform, basically at thia point the only real competitor to ICP is AOtheComputer of arweave.
And regarding open chat they claim fully on chain they recently introduced video call feature but it's not possible rn on icp to enable this feature they said themselves so why should we promote hybrid apps instead of fully on chain dapps
