I’m an Indian girl born in Canada. I don’t even know if I’d be comfortable touching people’s feet. I know it’s the Indian culture, see it in my family all the time. It’s weird to me but props to her for doing it and integrating into our culture.

The touching the feet is mostly a Hindu Indian thing...being a Punjabi myself I barely see anyone touch elderly feets...I never done it myself either...
Though I’m expected to touch elders feet almost on a daily basis but I myself wouldn’t want any young person to touch my feet.

Punjabis despise girls as first borns especially🙄 my friend was pregnant her friend had daughter she was holding her.. her mother in law said dont hold her so shes not cursed with daughter.. my other friend has one daughter... when she found second is also daughter her mom in law cried... sooo many stories of discrimination against girls

They have explained quite many times that Abbey’s family doesn’t really like being in front of the camera, that’s why we don’t see so much of them. It’s not like they don’t spend time together. They just prefer doing it without recording it. Although Indian families are strongly knit together, it doesn’t mean ”western” people aren’t close to their families.
