- Hello everyone !
This is the timelapse of the speedsculpt I made of the Anjanath to celebrate the release of Monster Hunter World on PC !
This is probably my favorite game and I've been waiting for years for a new game I could play (I had no console since a few years :3) so I'm really excited about it !
Hope you'll enjoy it !
It took me around 5 hours.
Sculpt done in Zbrush, rendered with BPR and composited in Photoshop.

I think you work very hard to do this kind of things, that's so impressive
What a selfless Act for zoology - i bow in humility.
Epic work! So happy to be seeing more and more people doing stuff for the MH games. Keep up the great work!! I'll be rooting for you to do well ^^
Hugo Aubert Glad I could help! ^^

Not sure if you're aware or not, but a youtuber by the name of Tutomator reuploaded this to their channel
Can you give me a link? I can’t find their channel
It’s not there.....
nice job with the primary and secondary sculpt phases but i think the detail part has too much noise and its hard to read the scale details, anyway good work keep it up
So can a sculpted mech be rigged and used in animation ?
You would have to retop a lower poly version and use the sculpt for baking normals.
I am a student studying MAYA at the moment. Is there a way to achieve this in MAYA?
WHOAT 5 HOURS ???
It takes me 5 Hours to make one of the Scales you put on the Anjanath :(
What are your Tricks ? :(((((
I sculpted some by hands but most of the scales covering his body were made using alpha textures. You can find some online and I think that the ones I used come from the Pixologic Download Center. For the sculpted ones, it just takes time and practice to become better and faster. The more you'll do it, the better you'll become :)

I was espicially talking about Hand sculpted ones
But I don't even manage it to use Textures for :(
When I do that I always create weird looking Seams
Not to mention that my Hand sculpted Scales more look like a rocky Mountain
I'm really good at traditional Modelling, but sadly I can't create good Detail because I always do something wrong on Sculpting ...
I think that I might have no Hand for, but I don't want to accept that >:/
U forgot its crest
U forgot to be smart
