I hate it when babies get the poopies. But at least your on top of it. So far ive only had 2 babies this year with the poopies. But i got torozaril treated them and it was gone in no time. Thanks so much for tellin me about it. Ive lost so many from coccidia. I think the fence idea to leave that part was not lazy, its worker smarter not harder. Chucks total of babies for now is 9 altogether. And i have one more doe that is pragnant.

Shawn knows what it means. He has done this multiple times with great success. Tiny Herc - and the entire herd - are in good hands. He is the most observant and meticulous goat farmer I follow and I follow DOZENS! He is acutely aware of how fragile babies are and will go to great lengths to care for them.

They don’t know really. They said they got her imaged multiple times and have treated her but it seems like she just carried extra fluid/possibly inflammation. Nothing life threatening but may impact her infertility. She’s never been able to get pregnant and if she has, she has absorbed the babies shortly after conception.
So, in short - she probably is just a variation in goatie body composition, like we see in many humans ☺️ And it may or may not contribute to her infertility. But she is well loved and totally healthy!

He said he treated him and what he treated him with. Shawn's been taking wonderful care of his goats for a while now. He knows what he is doing.

Just by existing. Very common illness in goats. They get it from grazing from the ground.
