    Still too much glare to other vehicles, particularly with the tall profile of the Titan. And for the price ($400 for the 4 led bulbs) why not just do an HID projector retrofit, save some money and have a better light pattern and a much more crisp (better looking) output?

    Some shop in Tucson told me they would charge me $130 dollars to change the bulbs because it was a complicated process of taking off the grill and other things in the front. I saw another CZcamsr changed it like you did and it only took me 15 minutes. I know shops try to make a profit for their services but c'mon 🤷🏽‍♂️

There are currently no LED or HID bulbs out there that are street legal, your only actually street-legal options would be halogens. Let us know if you have any other questions, we are here to help! Any 9006 LED. HID will work too. Those years Nissan Titan, Armada and Infiniti QX56, etc. have open style retainer cap to seal the bulb.
      However, if I were you, take advantage of your vehicle model and get projectors. There's a plethora of aftermarket projector assemblies for your Titan to choose from.

  • @skiraf
    @skiraf Před 5 lety +5

    Beam pattern on a wall means nothing. We need a overhead beam pattern down the road. Also, brighter lights will cause driver fatigue on long trips. The yellow glow from halogen bulbs will not tire your eyes.

    • @HeadlightRevolution
      @HeadlightRevolution  Před 5 lety +6

      Ash, I have to disagree with you pretty much 100% here.
      1. If the beam pattern produced by the upgraded new bulbs closely mimics the old halogen beam pattern, then you can deduce that the beam on the road will be the same as well.
      It's our goal to find bulbs that mimic the original beam pattern so they don't create excessive glare for other drivers and you can see where you're supposed to be able to see. Similar wall beam + increase in brightness = a better driving experience.
      2. The thing that causes eye fatigue is strain from dim light. If you're trying to see past your headlights distance because they don't illuminate far enough, that causes your eye muscles to get tired from all the straining. Same thing as with the side to side visibility.
      The more light on the road and the further it shines, the less fatigue your eyes will experience.

    • @PurplePie69
      @PurplePie69 Před 5 lety

      Haha you're both right, yellow lights do cause less eye fatigue for long distance travel at night due to the nature of how our eyes absorb color, but also straining to see past the lights is rough on your eyes too and halogen just simply cant put out the same amount of power as a led. You can get a color coat on the led to make it have a yellow tint, but I think that's illegal in some states

    Unsubscribing because you guys only focus on trucks for some stupid reason instead of cars most likely to be modified like Evo's and STi's. I live in a state where most ppl have trucks (WV) but no truck owners here do any headlight mods. It's the Evo drivers and WRX/STi and VW R owners that do. Why do you never have videos on the vehicles most likely to mod? Its stupid.

Maybe I should go comment the same thing on the AMS channel that I’m tired of watching their stupid high HP evo builds because I think they need to work on diesel trucks. Oh, and how many truck owners have you polled and they told you they aren’t interested in lighting mods? Grow up.

There's a limited amount of trucks with a large portion of ownership for a specific truck. This is why there are so many off-road type magazines, shops, and groups. It's considered Be GREAT at One Thing. It's pretty much impossible to be good with all. example. A Quarterbacks play QB. Most often, they can run for crap.
