- Grace VanderWaal performed a thus far unreleased original song, "Excuses", live at Purgatory in Brooklyn NY, on June 7th, 2023. I remember when Grace showed her fans a glimpse of her rehearsing this one a few days before the show that I thought it might be called Fool, but Excuses turned out to be the title, and it's a good one. :)

By all accounts, Grace is quite happy with her life. She certainly doesn't need your "wisdom" so I'd suggest you take your own advice and remove your head from your own rear.

Instead, he allowed the instruments to drown your voice out.

No, they didn't. This is how most cellphone recordings will sound directly in front of the stage. No amount of fine tuning the audio levels will fix the limitations of phone microphones. In person, you'd hear her just fine.
