the heel clicks in the beginning are great
If you like that, check out their Void Walker album. iirc like 2 or 3 of their songs start similarly. They're a lot darker and harder than this, and tbh I'm really hoping they return to that dark synth style soon. They teased it with Queen of Knives and this song (a bit) but alas not much else recently.
Update: just got to The Twisted Spire and Dream Drive Operating System (which was released before the album so shame on me for forgetting it!) and they've got a lot of the darker vibes to it, too. Not as much as the Void Walker album but pretty on par with Queen of Knives. Really hoping for more of that soon! Absolutely love that sound to no end.
@@hatshepsut2332 I don't intend on doing the same thing I've already done once. Void Walker was cool, I'm moving on to cooler things lmao. BUT, maybe I'll do more midtempo in cooler ways too ;D
