    Thank you so much for talking about this! I am currently waiting to get assessed for autism and ADHD in September, and hoping that it helps. I've sort of known I was probably autistic for several years now, but wanting to get assessed finally. It's a little nerve racking.

    Hey, loved this video. I would love another one on your childhood as an autistic person.

    I got my autism diagnosis back in 2008 with a very grim prognosis but I guess the diagnostic process is alot better for folks these days which is good to know. Still a shame there's no support out there for autistic adults though and the older you are the more isolating it becomes

      I think it varies pretty considerably but at least there are probably a lot more options for neurodivergence-affirming clinicians out there today. I hope in time more support for adults will become a thing, but yeah, as of right now there's not much outside of peer support.

      @@CelesteM Peer support doesn't exist for many atleast ... xD You're lucky to atleast have some friends in life when many are so isolated

    I got my autism diagnose at 27 in the month june on 6 2022 And i am transman. I knew it was autism 5 years ago but now that it is official i have to procces it still.
    You look much younger but i bet you hear that alot.
    I also look young for my age
    Isnt that a thing with people who have autism?

      @CelesteM  Pƙed rokem +2

      I've heard looking younger is common for both autistic and trans people so that makes sense!

      @@sxphinx There are so many `trans influencers` who do this...don`t upload or contact for months. The sector is pretty much dead, and then trans people complain about having no voice. Just a quick note, comment, or update. What`s so hard about that? It`s the rudest part of YT when it comes to content creators treatment of commenters and their hard-won subs.
