You should still listen to and take advice from people who have had more experience and success in the field you are in. It's common sense.
Has he figured it out?
Nah, take advice and learn from experienced folks first, *then* defy it when you've got proven success that surpasses them. Then you avoid remaking mistakes others already have.
I think it was taken seriously.
Man this aged poorly and is exactly the reason aew is drowning
So, you are on the same roster as cm punk, sting, Jericho, etc. You see them draw in thousands of fans just making an appearance for 2 minutes. You seriously don’t want to learn how to do that? You got to at least hear there ideas or something.
Yeah don’t take it too seriously, much like you and your career.
Boy the hater in the comments.. probably never made this expierence of advice
That is only half true. You should listen to only enough that helps you but be authentically you at the same time. Whoever you shouldn't just straight up not listen to anyone.
It's a balance it's both kind of baloney to say that is well that it's never a good idea to listen to anyone. It's a balance of being 100% authentically you and learning what helps you.
I'm not speaking for wrestling. I'm just talking in general in life in anything you do.
I'm very confused cuz listen to this earlier he kind of contradicted it because he said the exact same thing he kind of said but his beginning statement acted like you don't take it
This guy is the most boring wrestler and was the worst champion
And that's why AEW is . . . AEW smh
WWE NXT 2024
And that is why he is only gonna get where he is at in his career because of dumb statements like that lol
Here’s some advice Hangman. Don’t say:
“You think I’m gonna shake your hand? You owe Cabana money”
With a live mic right next to you with almost 1,000,000 people watching.
Thats not what happened, as much as I like Punk thats just not what happened lmao
@@ledzeppelinfan1001 yes it did. Watch their face off again. Right before Punk shoves him you can hear Page say it to his face.
It’s hard to hear in that promo unless you’re looking for it. But it’s there. Completely changes the perception I had of who was to blame.
@@ledzeppelinfan1001 have you rewatched the promo where Hangman legitimately says that?
@@systematic11 I watched it over and over with high quality earphones and with the volume LOUD dude. Its not there.
empty headed
Take the advice to elevate yourself man what
Unless he develops a different mindset as he grows older, he'll never become a wrestling star nor anything close to what C.M Punk is
So this is the video that punk got extremely pissed off at...
It really shows in the one match he knows how to do
That's why he is one of the most boring wrestler, less talented james storm.
Who the f*ck is Adam Page though? Seriously! He legit says he doesn't take advice from legends of the business, its shocking & disrespectful to those who paved the way for stars like him to earn a decent living.
Dont think a 14 year vet needs others advice.
Yeah, 14 Years of Indy Wrestling with the bucks and he knows everything about the buisness. Sure...
What has he actually done though? When has he drawn money? When has he ever got a job because he's not friend's with the guys who sell merch
That says more about how little he’s actually done in such a long time. I used to like Paige but takes like these has really soured me on him.
Sure my nigga
@@NickGerse So because he doesn't do whatever an old timer tells him you don't like him anymore?
Some advice is bad 🤷♀️
He’s saying don’t take advice from envious ex champions who want your spot aka bad advice
This is why AEW sucks so bad
This is why his company is failing.
Keep in mind this is a founder of AEW… he’s never received advice he thought was valuable. W t f ?
A true babyface
And in the end he was actually right
You do gotta figure it out on your own at the end of the day, and you can’t take. advice too seriously. That I’m of itself is great advice, this is what caused Punk to have a conniption? Why would he or anyone care? Such a toxic, unreasonable individual…
Who the fook is this guy?
And he still hasn't gotten better
if he had listened to somebody before this interview he would of never give should a dumb answer. if you think your successful then sorry my friend your completely deluded. if i were a wrestler and had someone like a William Regal or a Paul Heyman for example offering me words of advice or guidance id have the good sense to hear them out.
Horrible take to be honest. Advice? Sure I'm gonna listen to it and will ignore it or just mixed it with how the wrestling industry is at the time. Like 80's wrestlers talks about keep the keyfabe to this day and it's a horrible advice but if i spin it like mjf where I'm in charector 24/7 and show people how much dedicated I am in social media that can make me so much money. Off camera i can be myself at the same time if anyone starts recording me he/she will understand why I'm switching into a dick. Don't even try to understand an old guy's advice is backshit crazy russo didn't listen and eric listen to much at the end wcw burn to dust.
CM Punk: And I took that personally.
If you can't learn from the advice of veterans like Sting,Jerry Lynn or Dean Malenko then that's your bad!!!
Maybe you should have listened !?!?
that way you won't have found the highlight of your career was playing a goofy drunk!?
Listening to the advice of all those legends could cause a potential problem if those different minds are giving different advice that conflicts with each other.
This is why AEW is in decline
