You know what I like most about Phil? He enjoys the living hell out of playing rock guitar, and it shows. His sincere joy is infectious. I don't see any pretense with him, all I see is the massive thrill that a kid feels the first time they crank up an electric guitar and the sound of a power chord goes right through their body and shakes their bones. I find it hilarious that a place like that had a rock guitar performer. Usually rock is played in different venues. I think Phill X is one of the best guitarists who knows a lot of old rock songs.
Love me some Phil X. He can spit out any solo/riff from any song any style and nail it note for note. He's just a beast. He plays the guitar like it should be played, with balls. Thunderous chords and lightning fast solos, showering the audience with 32nd notes till their faces melt away. See what I did there. LOL A hell of a performance by the great Phil X. ROCK!! \m/
You can tell that he is not worried about making mistakes. He simply just play. I think his level of confidence is super high which he built up though all his years of practicing.
Phil X a good ol' Canadian boy... packed up his Toyota Tercel and headed to L.A. very risky since L.A isn't a thriving music scene anymore. I used to see him playing in the clubs and pubs of Toronto....he can play anything. Good for Phil X #philx
I feel like anyone else doing this would be kind of repetitive and would get old, and it's not just phil's KILLER chops either, it's the fact that he's a complete madman and commits so hard! That room looks a little stuffy but he had their old asses rocking out in their chairs

It inspires me to go crank up my amp and just wail on my harmonica and maybe even my guitar. But after watching that I’m a little timid to pick up my guitar, I couldn’t even come close that fanjastic performance.

He used to host Jam Nights at Bar One on the Danforth in Toronto and there is no song he can't play. Honestly. He's is Awesome to watch in person, how he plays. IT'S EXTRAORDINARY TO WATCH HIS HANDS AND THE RIFFS HE DOES. Incredible Phil Like Always. You Peeled Some Faces there. I Tell Ya.

oh man... I wanted a band so bad but they said it wasn't possible. my 2nd wish that the track was louder in the show & the vid. it was SLAMMING in the studio.
My audio is coming out of Bose speakers and the bass and drums sound killer. They're vibrating the fuck out of my chair (at least I think it's the speakers doing that ;) ). I like the mix. I think it's great. I like your levels slightly higher. The track is plenty loud. It works.
