Hello! I have a problem. I uploaded a custom minecraft skin to sketchfab, downloaded the model to be gbl, then imported it into spline. I'm not quite sure why it's not working, bc on sketchfab it looks fine, but when I load it on spline, it gets completely messed up. Could you help me out?
Unfortunately you can’t edit the models when you import them to Spline. You will need to import the model into another 3D program like Blender and make your model edits. Then export from Blender and import to Spline.
thanks for this tutorial. but I am just wondering why whenever I import .glb file from sketchfab to spline, it loses the original texture, material, and animation and become like 25% done visually. is it because I am not a paid subscriber and you are?
It all depends how the creator of the .glb has exported their model. I also have that same problem from time to time when I import to Spline. You might need to import the .glb to Blender and then fix any problems and then import to Spline.
These spline tutorials are great! Thank you! I've been trying to figure out how to go from sketchfab to spline effectively!
Very helpful, thanks!
Greate tutorial!!!

is there any way to edit the imported model directly in Spline?

@@WickyDesign ok, Thanks ! I mentioned that textures are not always visible once the model has imported to Spline.
