    Own one, I love it. You can call it ugly or whatever. It's sharp, it's thick, it slices, it splits, it is very lively in the hand. It does everything you need a knife to do and looks weirdly good doing it. I own all three of the knives he compares in this videoand love them all.

    It's a sharpened prybar with style. I love mine but haven't really needed it for anything, but it's cool

    I kinda think Joe x is a joke , I mean when trying to chop through a car then bricks then batoning with a hammer or sledge ....and when the knife is obviously going to break ..... " it's a trash knife don't buy it , it's faulty ".... obviously if you are going to intentionally do everything in your power to break it , it's going to break

    • @forgedeath
      @forgedeath Před měsícem +2

      Gotta disagree with you there,
      Thats not the point of his videos. He breaks them on purpose to see what the knifes breaking point actually is. Its nice to know just how much abuse a tool can handle before it fails. He does that so we can get insight into the durability of the tool youre buying.
      I dont know how you can't see the value in that.
      The idea that he makes videos so that people can complain about the knife breaking after chopping a brick 150 times is just silly. He puts in the work so we dont have to.

    Good knife, I liked it, just didn’t care for the upper guard. If it were angled forward abit I would have probably kept it.
    Thought about grinding it off, but gave it to a friend of mine who's son got deployed to Syria last year.

    I guess I’m old fashioned. This knife will probably do the job and do it well. I tend to like looking at a knife as well as using them, those guards are a shortcut in manufacturing to me, they’re ugly and look cheap. I don’t mind modern materials and manufacturing but often modern design is just not for me, if it’s a Bowie I’m after, give me an old school Bowie any day.

      @@peterbiltknifeguy Your opinion doesn't impress me either. In the hands of a stong man, that thick blade with recurve for cutting and 7" length will do any job a soldier has to do. Finally, you have a knife probably tougher than the British MOD Survival Knife ( Sold by Night Galaxy ).🗡
