    Thanks a lot. Temps dropped after changing thermal paste to something new and then I was able to create custom fan curve in HWINFO so that it's almost silent now.

    Hey dude, I doubt you'll see this but my laptop is still running pretty hot. It blows out hot air like instantly which is really annoying, do you know anyway to solve it? BTW I have fitted a new heat sink to it too and some thermal paste.

      Make sure cooling fan isn't obstructed by dust buildup. There's also the possibility that your OS is being overtaxed by a software corruption. These are only shots in the dark but may be worth exploring.

      The only way to fix this I found was to either Install a much lighter OS (which in my case, was AntiX linux) or to install a fan controller and have the fans run at full speed the entire time. Neither of which are that desirable as I already own a chromebook and wanted a portable windows machine. But hey-ho
