This one is a powerful one. The music video is super intense, a must-watch. Extinguishing your own life early is never worth it. As impossible as it may seem at the time, working to fight against the struggle and living on is always the right choice. Save your family, friends, and all loved ones the grief. YOU MATTER!! Somebody out there loves you and the world is always a better place with you in it rather than not!

What if you have no family and friends left...it happens. Not that leaving the planet should be the answer. Had to add that. BUT...sometimes u just feel alone. What does someone do when no one reaches out cause seems like so many only care bout themselves. Yes, not afraid is my safe song. Peace
@@The__SHOW there are definitely people who have no family and friends, you are 100% correct. But somewhere there’s somebody that’s going to love you and maybe you haven’t met them yet. Like I said, it can seem so impossible. After enough time you will meet that person that loves you, it’s about putting yourself out there. Not saying that putting yourself out there will only bring good experiences, cuz some people are shitty people who only care about themselves. But you’re the only person who can create some kind of hope for yourself. You have to seek out the real ones and people who will love you for you. Confidence is key! Ending your life is not the answer, you’re worth more than you’d believe!!!
@Jack Hogan confidence is key, I agree 💯 but confidence comes and goes. I'm always climbing and I've fell a lot, like most. It's really tough when you climb to the top and fall hard. Suffering seems to be attached to me, but I keep climbing. It's just that as u get older, it's gets very hard to climb those hills seem steeper. I wonder if I can do it sometimes. I'm not a quiter, I keep putting one foot in front of the other, even if it doesn't get me to where I once was. I use to have friends and family. No more, and it gets harder to find true bluers. It is tough to trust after u open your heart and get it ripped out by friends u once called close. I wonder sometimes how people can be like this, but I learn the hard way and try not to give up even when it feels like the world doesn't care about anyone. I don't recognize this world or even the friends I once had. I realize, they were fair weather. Yeh, people can be shitty, it's hard to sift thru the good & bad. No worries, I'm not going anywhere, i keep climbing even if i fall hundreds of times, but I've been thru the wringer, like so many others. Thx for reaching out. You seem like a good person.

Hey Chris. Great reaction as usual. This topic is very personal for me. I’ve been there back in 2017. I almost ended up swallowing a bottle of pills and draining ‘em sombitches down with some alcohol just to make sure it was effective. Been going through a lot of stuff back then both physically and emotionally. Shit hit the fan very hard and in a span of a month I was in a foreign country with little to no money, residence permit problems, a big fine to pay for expired residence (or to face deportation), had a huge dent to pay, my grandma who raised me was at the deathbed in my home country, my mom got robbed while she was taking care of my grandma. All people who I considered friends left me alone in the darkness, even a person who I considered my best friend and a father figure (since he is basically the same age as my dad). On top of all of that I already was battling crippling depression and anxiety attacks. So all of this piled on top of each other led me to almost ending it all. Fast forward 5 years and I am in a much better place mentally and physically. It all went uphill from there. But if it wasn’t for a couple of particular songs - I wouldn’t have made it out of that shithole. One of them being “Pittsburgh” by The Amity Affliction and the second one “That’s Just Life” by Memphis May Fire. Can you please react to either one of these songs (or both) and give your opinion? Would mean a lot to me coming from a grown up man with wisdom like yourself. Thanks, take care and keep up the good work 🤜🤛
I’ve had the feeling of “I wanna die” more times then not and rap music for sure helps with that because they are so relatable but being able to watch you and other reactions helps so much thank you for doing what you do and being just YOU god bless you and your family and thank you

It's harder to live sometimes. We all lose a lot at times in our lives, I've been spiraling down for a long time. I think bout checking out many times. I know it's a struggle to lift yourself up, but we have to, even when we suffer. There's something gonna get u better, we just can't see it yet. I know, cause I've been lost many many times. I recently had a kinda breakdown. Shit just got to be a lot. With the cost of things lately and struggles and the loss of family and friends and whatnot. It seemed like alot happened at once and I straight up told my family that this isn’t a life worth living. Truth be told, songs like this sometimes trigger a full breakdown for me. I cried harder than I have in s while but i think it was just the type of release I needed. Afterwards I felt motivation stronger than I had in s while so it’s a weird thing but it’s funny how music can trigger that stuff for me. Love the reviews by the way, been watching a while and just wanted to toss down a thought real quick.

I think you’d enjoy Logic’s “Under Pressure” song (also the title of the album), it’s about his upcoming and succession but also about the sacrifices he made along the way during the second half with real messages from his family turned into verses

There IS something somewhere that will provide what you need to get where you need to go. People make your plans difficult but if you trust the system, show up, and just experience the situation and learn to trust yourself to save yourself, you can become confident, gain enough self respect to understand you cannot fail if you put in effort, only learn. You only lose when you don’t try. When you stop showing up. When you can’t even receive blessings when they’re banging on your door. Take every opportunity. The new you is unfamiliar, so scary at first, but once you walk in the new you, you’ll never go back. You have to let go of whatever the “old you is”. Survive. Grow. Thrive. You are a human being! Go create you have one life!
This song got released when I was at my lowest as I'm UK so couldn't use the number but it made me think of how many people would be left behind , its safe to say I'm in a happier and better place if anyone Is struggling life does get easier
I'm so glad I can still listen to that masterpiece. After all those nights I prayed to not wake up again... all those mornings when I asked myself why do I have to go through this again... after all night drives wondering which pole/tree should I drive into... after almost jumping off of the bridge... I can proudly say I did it! From a fighter to a survivor! Now I love to listen to songs like this because it reminds me how far I climbed out of the pit I was in. I mean there still are ups and downs but sometimes you gotta do one step back to make two steps forward. I said it couple times already and I'm gonna say it again. Thank you Chris for saving my life and for the community you made!

This song was the biggest one that helped me through a lot. As well as a few others that I’ll list. But this song goes into some real dark spots for me. I’m just glad to have pulled away from those feelings and thoughts daily

I have been in this very dark space. When my kids got taken from me because I was being beat. No matter how good I did, they weren't giving them back. 5 kids gone forever. But I've made it 13 years. I'm still here. My whole life got taken from me.
My brother committed suicide in 2018, the thing that haunts me the most, is that he was staying with my cousin at the time and my cousin stated that he seemed off, my cousin worked night shifts, and so as she’s leaving she checks on my brother, who she could tell had been crying,she asked him if she should stay and he told her, “go to work I’m fine”, and she said are you sure, and he looked at her and smiled and said yeah, and not ten minutes after, he hung himself, my other cousin found him, I wish everyday that she would have stayed. The saddest part is no one knows why he did it and that scares me and devastates me, I’m not sure if this adds anything but he was 17 years old, and had plans, he killer himself on the reservation, and it’s to common on the reservation for people to kill themselves. You are not alone whatever you are going through, please reach out you are loved.

I wish that besides watching the music video which is great, you would see Logic’s explanation of the song on Genius.
He pretty much says that the first verse in the song is the person that’s wanting to give up, but that person calls the suicide line. The second verse is from the suicide line worker’s perspective; he/she is telling the other person that they shouldn’t give up. The last verse is from the person who called the suicide line saying it helped and now they want to live.
Maybe it's time to back up and see the whole tapestry... Thankyou for the advice

I did not expect this to be so powerfull, even tho i know the song and actually like it as a vibe, this video catches me totally off guard.
The things u added to the whole story had me in tears for like 10 min straight because of the place where im at now. I now can see what my problems where and how i am hiding from the reality for a couple of years now. This opened a whole new door for me because i now realize i struggle with myself as a person.

ive been battling severe depression since i was 10. im 22 now. i cant tell you how long ive had to wear a fake face. ive attempted suicide close to 20 times in the past 12 years. 4 of those attempts within the past month. i came home after being discharged from the army before i could finish infantry school. i was literally 2 weeks from receiving my blue cord. i had my pinks and greens. a uniform that costs close to 5 grand that is tailored to you. i put it on multiple times before i had to turn it in because i knew that no one would ever get to see me in it. every time i put it on i cried. i had spent almost 22 weeks working towards a goal that ive been wanting, just to fall two weeks short. i got home and it wasnt much better. my and my then girlfriend that i had been with the past 4 years of my life, started arguing basically every single day all day. i began to thing everything was my fault. we broke up on an extremally bad note. i attempted twice within a 24 hour period and 4 times within that week. its been a struggle not to attempt again

You should react to falling in reverse there such a good band and they have like three own genre they can do everything but they’re mainly a hard rock band. I highly recommend the drug in me is you and I’m not a vampire they both have a great message in them and they also have an alternative version that there lead singer remade a decade after the original release
