I am bawling like a little girl and I'm only 2:10 in! Adam you should have no shame in tearing up and feeling emotional! Because 80% of your kindred spirits are with ya! Without the Woomobile, you wouldn't have gone as far as you have. A big reason I feel so many people love you is because you're not one to stick in one area. You move on. You show what more the country has to offer. And without the Woomobile, it wouldn't have been possible! Some people will say, "You're crying over a van? Wow! What a baby." But those people haven't been on the journey we've been on. They haven't seen the years spent in that van.. I must say Adam, seeing you get emotional about selling your van made me earn even more respect for you. Now I respect you more than I thought I ever could. You have a big heart, Adam. I just hope that get get Woomobile V2 in the future!

Oh man. I get it, brother. I cried every time I traded in one of my vehicles for the next one. I've always named them which never helps when saying goodbye. In memory of Jojo, Betsy and Ginger...I still miss the memories we made. But making new ones with Molly. Seriously, don't get anything too small though! Those highways aren't any safer!
I cried when my last car left my driveway - I had it for a loooong many years. I still feel weird and miss each vehicle I have had, I kept them each as long as I could.. So I feel ya on giving up your van. It has been a big part of your life.

I'm sat in a coffee shop in Oxford, UK...almost in tears....a lady sat next to me asked if I'm ok. So I said I'm watching a guy who vlogs on CZcams every day and he getting rid of his van. She said thats probably the woo chap!!!.....I can't believe it. She added that her son's follow you on You tube....

I think the only true fact in regards to life, is change. It took me 40 years to truly understand this. The good news is that Adam and his van adventures will be available for us to watch on CZcams. How many great times have we had that are just in our memories and not recorded on a site like CZcams? So, it is sad, but we can always go back in regards to the van adventures. When one door closes, another one opens. I really cant wait to see where Adam is going to take us next!

Possibly one of the reasons he is getting rid of it. I've always thought why does he still need this van if he is no longer sleeping in it. Particularly since the start of most vlogs are him filling it with gas. It probably gets under 20 mpg on the highway.
Gas is cheap these days AND you only burn gas when your logging a lot of miles, every day. Just drive less between gigs and it's not a problem compared to rent. Rent! Now that's expensive and your not even moving. People easily spend $1-2,000. a month, even more. How far can that get you in gas? No Cliff, it's all how you look at what is expensive and not.

why doesnt adam have a good girl at his side? hes funny, witty, sedimental, and all around entertaining. People have asked why he doesnt have a t.v. show. Well...he does...right here with all us. He doesnt need all that hollywood bs and propaganda. We, his fans, are his show, his family, his friends. Good show ole boy.

I know why. Same reason that he left California and gave up the van. Most women will only put up with a wanderlust for so long and eventually want to "nest" which kind of kills the whole wanderlust thing and anchors you to a specific place. That does not preclude, however, a series of traveling companions much like Doctor Who.

As a car guy and a Ford guy, I can feel the pain involved in letting something go, that has played such an important part in your life. I still have my first car, which includes many family memories, it'll never go. Owning a few vans, I feel the pain, everytime you show us filling it up...We will all miss the van..but new adventures are on the horizon, they will make up for it. I will miss the van..and will always associate a silver Ford van with the Woo Van. :)

Have you any idea what the van with all the buttons, stickers and Salvador Dolly fan included would have brought if you have held an auction ?? It would be like owning the General Lee or the Bat mobile. Hell Jay Leno would have bought it for his collection.
Every where you go you get little notes left in the wipers from fans, Should have signed the drivers door and had the whole thing preserved with some sort of clear coat .

It's a couple dozen or so vlogs back. Long story short: He was going to auction off his iconic (and no longer made) sunglasses, since they were pretty beat up and no longer fit well. He figured he could use whatever money he got to fund "further adventures". He put them up on eBay, and they immediately got "trolled", with fake bidders hiking the price up to absurd levels (we're talking multiple thousands of dollars here). He decided it was not worth it to filter through all the fakes to find the couple of honest bidders, and instead decided to keep the sunglasses.
Yeah Adam.....Make some money off of it!

I'm glad your van served you well, and I know all too well the emotional attachment to having a vehicle for a long period of time. My current car is about to turn 225,000 miles and I've had it over 7 years now. Wow Adam, i never thought I'd get emotional watching someone else part with a vehicle. It's memory will live forever in these vlogs.
Whether you believe it or not Adam, aside from being an urban explorer, roadside traveler and Disney enthusiast, i think you can add certified car guy to your resume. I for one believe that a vehicle should not only be a utensil or appliance to get you from A to B, but it should be an extension of its owner. It should evoke emotions, make you hapy to be behind the wheel, be included in your memories of travel. Your van in a way was almost a 4 wheel interpretation of the Woo. Vans, like their station wagon cousins are the modern covered wagons. People loaded their wagons to start their long nomadic journeys to whatever destination, and honestly your van is no different. The trend of van travel and living is on the rise as I see alot of people here on youtube who are buying vans and doing what you have done witth yours. As a lover of vans myself i wish i could buy the van off ya. Of course it would still be YOUR van even if you didnt own it anymore. Even though it had no graphics festooooned over its exterior, it still became the Woomobile, achieving something greater than just being a grey Ford Econoline with an MLB plate. Anyways heres to the next phase whatever that is and who knows, maybe well see another woomobile in the future? A Transit perhaps? LOL!

I understand how you feel about your van Adam. The truck that I had previous to the one I have now was special to me because it was the first real nice vehicle I ever had. Like you, I paid a bunch of cash for it. When I sold it and watched it drive away, I felt the same way you do in this video. Had a lot of memories with it. Your van carried you on many adventures and seems like you had minimal problems mechanically with it. 198,000 miles wow, it did pretty good for you. Have a great day.
