    I had total knee replacement 5 years ago and I still have nightmares. The pain was horrible and the doctor ordered the same medicine you give someone who has had a tooth pulled. I still don't understand his thinking. Why torture someone when you don't have to. If something happens to my other knee I'll just suffer through. No way will I go through that again.

    Looks like a total knee is being performed. Can't ever forget the head gear. Used to keep me cool in the summer

    Why is the patient completely covered or is that just for video purposes?

      No, usually we do cover the patient entirely even for small operations just to keep it sterile everywhere. And also if the patient isn't under general anesthesia it prevents him/her looking at what's going on cuz they're gonna stress or won't stop asking questions which may disturb the surgeon.

    Any interest in helping out a patient who has systemic symptoms probably do to a rare allergic reaction to a knee implant or cement??

      @@AmyBethB yeah I walked out of the hospital without crutches a couple hours after my surgery, took about a month to walk when I tore it 😂

      @@pipedgolf4634 yes! I didn't want crutches so I got one of those walkers with a seat. I am very pleased with my surgery results.

      It is but there's even more waste than that in a hospital just to make you safe and prevent an infection. Sadly we have to use a ton of plastic
