Mark, I use Tour status 1.2 mm and 1.25 mm string for a few years for myself and my clients (players in the range 3.5 - 4.5 level). I also use ERT300. We experimented with this string tension and all of us find the best range is 49 -53 lbs (constant pull) which is ERT DT=33-35. I find DT=37 is too high for poly strings (in fact for any poly string, not only this one). Our collective feedback - this is well rounded low powered string.

You need to reward your dog with a treat when he/she sits for you.

I've used this string a lot since it came out, and I call it a slightly softer, slightly more powerful Volkl Cyclone, if Cyclone and Cyclone Tour had a baby, it would be this string. It can feel slightly boardy right off the stringer (depending on racquet, stroke style, and tension), but does break in within the first 30 minutes, not really affecting the power or control, but more so just feel, seems to pocket the ball a little more after the initial breakin period. To negate this, you can give it a slight prestretch, then it feels the same until it breaks or you are ready to cut it out. Great all around poly with nice bite.

TruPro just came out with a new poly Atomos. More pop than black knight and a little softer. I still think black knight has better touch around the net.

Thanks Mark. I tried the Tour Status. It felt very similar to the Black Knight. Completely agree on lack of power and tension maintenance loss. After about 3 hrs of playing I felt a significant tension loss and the feel was not good. Thanks for the review.

Going to disagree here, I'd recommend the 1.25 strung under 50lbs and it's a completely different string than what's being described here. Powerful and controllable from the baseline with good tension maintenance. This string did not feel stiff in the least, I'd say it's at least as soft as hyper G soft.

I really liked this string in a gut poly hybrid. Tried multi in a hybrid with it - but it sawed thru quickly. Gave up on it because my stringer didn’t like it…sharp.

Forgot to add - even in a hybrid - kick serves were outstanding.

    Tru Pro ?? 😂😂😂
My friend is using Pros Pro, been around longer so that is not a very good name change, unless they want to be confused, MacDonalds and Burger King or new name MacBurger ???😂😂
I love your new ERT 300 Mark! I’ve had mine for almost a year and trust me, 9-10 lbs tension loss is actually extremely good !
Most string (big name breads) lose about 15-20 lbs after few weeks, and speaking of Solinco Confidential or Hyper G, those are best in maintaining tension, most I’ve got was 5-6 lbs loss, so anyone lazy about restringing their frames, stick with Solinco !!!

We don't see where the string was manufactured... Does not appear on the package. If they don't mention it anywhere, that is a red flag.
