Americans are so unsophisticated. I'm elderly and started learning journalism in high school and continued in college. Jeff is a good example of someone who conflates opinion ("sides" as he calls it) with news reportage. 'Back in the day', when newspapers were a thing, there was something called an editorial page. That is where opinions on relevant subjects were expressed. Of course, stories are often reported from experience...
Who, what, when, where, why and how. The answers are news. Overuse of adjectives should raise an eyebrow. Americans no longer know civics or understand journalism. Most of the talking heads appear to have agendas. I would like to see the degree of anyone claiming to be a journalist.
