Because Blackrock is tasked by the WEF to ensure BTC never becomes the de facto international non-government world currency. They will do whatever it takes to keep it just another option in the TradFi toolbox and never a currency.

Because their customers are. This makes no sense. BR isn't buying BTC for itself - it's holding it on behalf of clients. There's ZERO comparison here between guys like MS and BR because one owns BTC and the other doesn't.

He eludes to the fact he doesn't work for crypto, he works for Blackrock. I would take issue with that.
First don't lump Bitcoin in with 'Crypto'.
Second, given that Bitcoin can elevate the unbanked, bring electricity to those who need it, monetizes peace and will separate Money and State, Bitcoin's success is humanities success. A rising tide raises all boats, including the people that make up Blackrock.
Unless they are corrupt then they should be selfishly working for Bitcoin.
