In this video we take a look at how you de-register and Factory Reset an Amazon Echo Flex. Please note that in order to correctly deregister an Echo Flex, the device needs to be connected to the internet.
It is also worth noting that by Factory Resetting your Echo Flex, you will be removing any settings, applications and data that has been stored on the device.

If your echo flex is not connected to Wi-Fi because you changed Wi-Fi. As long as you setup the Flex again using the same Amazon account that you used when you first setup your echo. Not having an internet connection is not a major issue.
However if you were given an echo flex and the giver did not factory reset set it, or you can’t remember the Amazon account you originally used so you have no way to deregister it. Then you will have a problem and will need to contact Amazon support to have them deregister the device for you.
