I even do this sports psychology method when selecting equipment and maintaining my supplies and archery equipment. Same for when exercising for fitness, and strength. I have been educated by a fine coach who said to be positive about my archery in speech and thought when assessing practices and tournament shooting (and when discussing archery matters with others).

Love the metaphor with the importance of visualisation for high risk sports like ski jumping... I might borrow that ;)

I want to encourage everybody to do this. Eight weeeks ago I started doing this in training properly. The feeling how a " good" shot feels has massive increased. That makes you want more good feelings:)

... ”You haven’t learned it yet ”. That explained a lot for me. Thanx 👍 I don’t know how many times I’ve been unable to recall my shot ...

Thank you!!! You're very good in explaining..! I never considered visualisation with such definition ..
Before seeing this video, I noticed that I got better only by watching you in your videos, simply watching the right movements you make (overall when you repeat it) . Then when I train, I get inspired from the flow I saw..
I try to repeat the harmony of your movement , so I think I visualise you. With this step I' m going to visualize me, it's incredible the link between blank and lack of control....
Thank you very much for all your contents, SUPER, SUPER, SUPER!!!

best example of visualisation is the moment just before performing a breaking technique in karate , the break is already done in your brain before the actual break occurs, doing this for the past 35 years , this helped me greatly in my archery .

New subscriber, thanks for spelling out 'focus'. I shoot Traditional and this has been something I have been working on and slowing my sequence.
