The Beaches Resort in Turks and Cacios is by far the crown jewel of the island. It’s for sure more family friendly and even when fully booked it seems 50% occupied. We have been going for several years starting when my kids were 10 and 12 years old. Now they are 17 and 19 years old. Every time we return it feels like coming home. Kids under 12 (I think are free) so that certainly helps. We are very picky when it comes to family vacations and this is our favorite destination by far. Sugar sand beaches, no waves, shallow water and FREE Scuba diving but you have to be certified, great food, many restaurants. Expensive but if you can swing it you will not be disappointed. We live in the Dallas, TX area and half the cost of the trip is just flying there.
I can't imagine having such a great crew helping to run a boat! Bobby you are still the luckiest man on the planet!
I finally figured out why your videos have improved so much! You and Taylor work very well together. Drama free and a perfect balance! She does an awesome informative voice over! And there is no look at me! The mood is also much more relaxed
I swear Taylor is a different person I’m every video. Her look changes every show. Love it.

What an unreal feeling being able to use your skills to sail up to land. Seeing it emerge from a distance like a long lost friend coming to greet you, the churning waves, the billowing fabric and creaking of pullies a constant qorus that comforts your journey. Magical.

I used to routinely ferry a King Air from San Juan to Florida. If I departed late enough I had to overnight in Provo. Worked out nice. What a great, relaxing stop. Enjoy.

It's nothing like it was on the Pac Xing. There was something sweet about it that later went sour. This is nice but more like V2.0.

With winds blowing you off dock run loop of line through your clean, around the dock clear but not hitched and back to boat. When ready and everyone on board just untie from
Boat clean and pull in fast and in your way. No need to untie and run and jump onto boat. Can do that for as many cleats as you have crew members. I do this all the time when single handling on deliveries and works great and safe. Just get lines on board quick so they don’t go near props. Happy sailing

Not sure what kind of chart plotter you are looking for but you can get the new Raymarine Axiom+ 12" for $2600.00. We also have similar units from Simrad and B&G that are priced around the same.
Wow, that’s good pricing for a Chart Plotter. It does AIS too I presume?

As you continue south from Cockburn Town (Grand Turk Is) you pass by Salt Cay (pop. 100), and Great Sand Cay (pop 0) two of the prettiest parts of the TCI, that few people will ever see.
Captain Taylor, When leaving a dock, have your swabs do a "shortening up drill". Remove all lines not under load, replace line under load with line looped back to cleats on deck. Then execute you undocking maneuver by flipping lines off the dock side fastener. No crew needs to be on the dock. If a line fowls, uncleat the bitter end from the boat and let it run through the dock fitting. Have your swabs retrieve the line as you make way. Try it it works. Y'all stay safe.

The annual sailboat race from Chicago to Mackinac island is epic, 350 miles on Lake Michigan. There's many video's of it.
Does it not take a long time to get from the Atlantic Ocean to Chicago by sailboat?
