I love all the new Truly Me dolls and the new outfit, finally something that looks great!!! I am a fan of eyelashes! I think that it adds something. ❤❤ Thank you for the update. I wish that I could go to my nearest AG doll place, which is the DC store. Although, I live at least an hour each way. It would be nice to be able to pick out my dolls. The last two did come in perfect condition, which is saying a lot because I am very picky with my dolls eyes. If I don't like them, I send them back! I wonder if they are tired of me yet! Lol 😅 I do give them several thousands of dollars a year and even more because I have two AG loving granddaughters! Lol😂 When they come over, I find that my own dolly supplies go down. My eldest granddaughter shops at my house for AG dolls and things like I am AG R US!!! 😅😂😆🤣 For those who have never been in a Toys R US, that is what I am referring to! I will be watching for the new outfits, too! I'm not so sure about the shoes. Thanks again, and I hope that Kat is doing okay! 😊
Chunky shoes must be making a comeback. The loafers look exactly like something that would have been popular in the mid 1970's when I was in high school except the soles wouldn't have been pink. They'd actually be great for Julie or Ivy.
They're very pretty, but I think it's odd that there are only Josefina and Classic molds. I was really hoping for Claudie TM. Sydney from American Girl Doll News said that 128's eyes are green, but it's really hard to tell from any of the pictures. Once they're officially up on the website, then we'll know for sure. I do like the new TM dress and I'm glad they added socks. I don't like the new outfits or shoes, but I'm guessing that little girls will love them. Gotta keep AG in business. :) Thanks for sharing!

I love the new truly me dolls they are so gorgeous! I love love love the Josefina face mold the most. I also love the painted eyes lashes very much. I will be buying 4 of the 5. Not the release 88. I’m confused by all these classic and Josefina mold dolls. They are all starting to blend together for me. I really fell in love with the Joss mold last year and I really wanted a red haired Joss or even a red haired Marie Grace-just something not seen before. At least put more face molds in the CYO generator!
With only 5 new TM dolls and a few outfits and shoes is maybe a bad sign that American Girl is just struggling and not putting too much money into new merchandise because sales have slipped so much. I agree the most exciting new doll is the dark skinned doll with curly dark hair and hazel eyes and one I want as well. I’m loving the outfits and only shoes I like are the black platform loafers. The painted eyelashes don’t bother me I think it helps to bring out their eyes more honestly.
I agree with the overdone pink. At least Lila's outfits are mixed with orange. Also agree with the new #127. Probably buying her. #128 is cute but a bit plain for most of the new releases. Like that they are making gray and hazel eyes instead of all the brown ones. Last one is out as I don't buy colored hair dolls but she'll probably sell the best. Seems to be the going trend now. Still hoping that they'll release some pale aqua, yellow, mint green (Claudie's colors), peach or light blue outfits. Give me pastels instead of all the pink all the time.
Beautiful. I wish #128 had a bit longer hair and bangs. She's beautiful without them but I think a lot of people loved that on #122 and this doll would have been very cute with that style. Still adorable all of them! Thanks for the upload.
They are very pretty but I wish 128 had 126's hair. Also I agree that there has been a LOT of pink and I am ready for another color. The rainbow boots look lovely. I will be buying 125 and I will wait for some reviews/think about some of the others.
Sometimes they release new stuff in the morning, 9am maybe? But the Dia de Muertos outfit was available in some stores on Sunday, and it was released online the Thursday after. I don’t know why they do it.
I thought this would be a big release… like a whole collection of new truly me dolls. I’m honestly kind of disappointed. The dolls are beautiful my favorite is definitely 125 but these dolls aren’t the most unique. Great video!
I am going to AG New York tomorrow to see the release in person I pan to get 127 and the two outfits and the accessories. I wil cal first to see if they have the items in store.
I actually do like the painted eyelashes, *except* on the classic mold. I got the newer long red wavy wig TM and after a year+ finally removed her painted lashes because I was thinking about selling her, and I like her so much better now
I really like TM 126 because she's the only brown-haired, blue-eyed doll available. I'll probably get her because she looks like me, though I do hate the painted-on eyelashes and wish they would stop using them or make them optional. That's one of the things that's holding me back from getting her. That and I want her ears pierced, but I've heard that dolls with pierced ears are a final sale, and I don't want her to come with some other defect like wonky eyes and not be able to return her and I don't live close enough to a store to pick her out and have them pierce her ears. I do hope she sticks around for a while though because she would be a great TM doll for my niece when she gets older. My grandmother and I were really disappointed that we couldn't get her a blue eyed, brown haired Bitty Baby for Christmas. I also agree with you about the overload of pink AG is using, I like pink, but enough already.
It’s so weird, statistically speaking, there are more people with blue eyes and brown hair than people with blue eyes and blond hair. I am glad AG fixed that. Do you live within a driving distance to an AG store? If yes, you can always have your doll’s ears pierced at the store. I know some people pierce their doll’s ears with a drill at home, but I have never done it.
@@rainbowunicorncat1 Unfortunately, I'm about 4 hours away from the NYC store. I wish the one in Natick was still open, that one was only about an hour and a half away. And I'm definitely not brave enough to try and pierce them myself.

Unfortunately the release seems pretty unimpressive to me, we really didn't need another white, curly blonde haired doll, I would have really preferred a more diverse collection. 😕
The new TM meet outfit is fine on the surface (even though I'm tired of pink) but when I see them on the doll, it just looks really tight and I'd like it to be a tad roomier, just a little bit. While the dolls are nice looking, there's a lot of Josefina molds and it's getting stale. This may come off as a hugely unpopular opinion. But I'm not too thrilled about 127 having light hazel eyes. In general I wish they'd stop giving darker skinned dolls lighter eyes all the time. It's not reflective of the population. It's definitely genetically possible to have darker skin and lighter eyes, but it's very uncommon. As someone with medium/tan skin, dark eyes and black hair, it's aggravating to not have more dolls that reflect that especially with a curlier texture hair. Sometimes I feel like people dislike dark brown eyes because it's too "pIain" or "not unique enough". However I am glad they are introducing new textures (even if I find it ironic that people didn't want Evette because they couldn't handle her hair.) Sorry if this came off negative. I'm just not as excited as I thought I'd be. :(
I see where you are coming from about 127. But we already have several dark skinned TM with curly hair and brown eyes. I think all little girls should feel represented by the TM line, so they could purchase a doll that looks like them without resorting to CYO, which is super expensive. Hazel eyes are common enough, maybe it’s because I live close to NYC, but I see a lot of POC with hazel eyes, especially from Middle East and South Asia.
I agree with you on the dress, it does look too tight. It’s a pity, because it would be even tighter on the older dolls… they are literally saving $0.01 per outfit on the fabric….
@@rainbowunicorncat1 I don't have any older dolls, but I may in the future. I don't want to spend money on clothing that can't fit some dolls, that's not fun or practical. Even the current TM dresses seem a little bit more roomy (even though they don't look the best) And I think I said in a different comment that it just reminds me with how skinny the new bodies are.

If I could have my own mini me, she'd possibly be a Sonali mold, with Evette's texture, in the color black, skintone 20/25 and dark brown eyes. It's not a combination I can readily buy unless I go with the CYO option, but unfortunately I'm not a fan of the newer Sonali mold's weird narrow eyes so I'll probably have to seek one out second hand and have her customized. In fact whatever I would want as my mini me would have to be done through CYO or customization. Feels weird to not even find that available in the TM line when I feel like the combination of my features is pretty common. :(
