When coming back from the ad break, and when the team wins the round, the music cues sound very similar to those used on 'Who Wants To Be A Millionaire'.
Used to be my favorite show. Would run home from school to watch this show every evening. Dunno where to catch all the episodes again.
Love watching your 80s and 90s uploads of classic Aussie shows d0nkeyshines! Keep it up!
They might've just been going for points, it was a common tactic if a team was confident, because points at the end of the week won them the week as a school.
I really should get around to this, but I have a full VHS tape each of Seven Network's Blockbusters and A*mazing, about 3 hours worth each.
There really isn't much left of either, so I should really get my act together and transfer them somehow.
that is the most messed up version of Blockbusters i have seen anywhere in the world
@MicMogul He warms up TV shows and directs on occasion.
How does the board get like this? Does white keep forgetting which way is vertical?
Can you Upload some more Blockbusters footage?
Nrrrnnn, I'm one of those horrible people who just hasn't gotten around to it. I really should check to see if we have the cords/devices needed to do it. Not to mention the time.
You can get the devices from Dick Smith. I hope you can get around to it if you have time. I would really would like to see the Gold Run of this version of Blockbusters and the Footage of Sofie Formica hosting Now You See It.
What is Popey up to these days?
Always thought the set was 10 yrs behind the fashion, but it was a solid show.
Ohk, I'll check them out, I have a friend who works at one, so I might be able to get a discount if it's particularly expensive. Yeah, the tape has several particularly exciting god runs from this version, and some pretty tight games....okay, I'm making this worse. Gotta get to Dick Smith ASAP.
The board looks exactly like that from US Blockbusters '87 with Bill Rafferty!
