What made us all hate triple h was JR... "Why triple h whyyyy...tell me whhhhyyy"
“You son of a bitch! Tell me why!”
Then he said, "YOU SON OF A BITCH"
“Triple H, that son of a BITCH” the way he would pronounce that word always took me 😂
"YOU COST AUSTIN THE TITLE, YOU BASTARD!"
JR definitely help sell the heat lol
"He's a son of a bitch if you ask me" Jim was the best 🤣🤣🤣
Definitely the funniest narrator I lol every time I hear those earlier episodes
When Triple H said “I am the fucking game, JR” he literally meant it
Absolutely. His character is him.
"Ain't nothing but a heart ache"
Said it with that wide ass chest
Triple h with long hair, side burns, a suit and the big gold belt was HIM.
Facts, that’s the final boss right there
Yea. These Roman stans don't know who the real Don is.
they dont make em like them anymore...
@@ChatPOPPAT Damn sure don't.
@@Speedyreedy1218 facts. Roman would have been a mid card act during H's run.
Being the most hated heel is as much a accomplishment as being the most loved face. He is The Game after all.
Cause he’s the Game-mah
And in the middle of the ring-gah
He squashed your favorite wrestler-rah
"Ya son of a bitch! Do you have no soul?" 🤣
being a heel is easier then being a face
@wifilostconnection5992 No it isn't. It's harder to be a heel. Fans like edgy characters. Once you show enough edge, they cheer you. See Austin, NAOL, Rock.
It's difficult to keep your edge without them starting to like you. HHH had to abandon DX to be hated again. When he brought them back, they got his heat. When they separated, they got cheered again. He didn't.
H knows how to control his pop so it's not overwhelming. He is not a fan of cool heels. He likes to be all in as a heel. When he feels he's getting cool, he turns it off.
He's damn well proud of it 😂
HHH's first promo as Evolution:
If you're lying in a hospital bed, all bloody and beaten up and wondering what the hell just happened, remember, Evolution has just passed you by.
Funny enough… that’s what happened to him after Batista beat him for the 3rd time at Vengeance 2005 in Hell in a Cell.
@@bradlee3109 They both were bloody and all beat up...
He wasn't lying in a hospital bed either. Watch the dvd extras.
@@Speedyreedy1218 nope. Batista survived and actually walked up to HHH while he was getting checked by doctors. Watch the DVD extras.
@@bradlee3109 I have the DVD extras. HHH was in his dressing room, sitting down, awake and distraught. Batista walked in after Flair talked to HHH and they hugged.
HHH still full of pride, stood on his own, spit up blood, looked Batista in his eye and said 'That's Evolution.' HHH wasn't lying in a hospital bed.
That promo alone tells you all you gotta know about HHH’s character. The ultimate villain.
i loved it. when he was the game, he was such a final boss type character. like, if you were rooting for an underdog or a babyface to reach the top, you always thought they had to go through triple h in the end.
All backstage politicking and burying aside, Triple H was THE perfect heel. He was so heavily disliked and vile but in return he made the babyfaces he feuded with (Austin, Rock, Shawn, Randy, Batista, etc.) only shine even brighter and only made us root more against him.
I think part of what makes heels like Triple H effecitve as is that they have grievances that are justified. But they air those grievances in the most douchebaggery way possible.
W
These kids today know Triple H as the clean cut corporate member of WWE, but growing up HHH was that guy you loved to hate. He was snake like, conniving, a sick mastermind. He played the villain so well. He was cool as a face, but him as a heel fit him like a glove. All hail the King of Kings
#AlwaysBeenMyGuy
The Ceberal Assassin!
Did whatever he had to do to remain on top, even if that meant stabbing his closest allies in the back. It was good living to be pals with The Game, as long as he needed you, that is..
@@jamesb1988 Don't come after HHH'S gold or wife, and you'll likely be an ally for life. Too many of his enemies failed to remember the code.
On your knees
The unprotected Pedigree on thumbtacks is the wildest thing ive seen
Cause Foley and HHH are real G's. Nothing soft about them.
Hammer
@smyth0077 A few were on his eye lid.
Imagine watch it live bro.
@@Speedyreedy1218Hunter can’t fight for real, let alone have a go to submission move… he’s ass for real
If you wannna create a sick and downright evil villain in your stories, Triple H and Mr Mcmahon are perfect examples/inspirations-

Add in some William regal
@@IslandboyWes HHH has some Regal in him.
@@Speedyreedy1218 regal is one of the best heels to ever do it. Was glad he was a big part of NXT
@IslandboyWes I didn't deny that.
There's some Regal in HHH. Regal mentored him. Of course he would be involved in nxt. HHH loves him.
I HATED him as a kid 😂 but as you get older you appreciate how amazing of a heel he was. 🔥
I dislike HHH than and will forever
HHH showcase would be lit for 2k25
IWC would complain...
😂 so just bury every talent with the bosses son in law?
@@ezekielcaselton5842 He buried no one.
@@ezekielcaselton5842 Quit spewing internet garbage. You clearly know nothing about wrestling. In terms of elevating other people, he was the most important wrestler of all time. You sound stupid
I would buy the game instantly for that
I remember growing up and absolutely no one liked Triple H everybody despised him especially with Jim fueling everyone’s hatred of him 😂 in retrospect looking back he was pretty awesome
I always loved him. I was the only one I knew who was a fan. I didn't come across fellow HHH fans til I was grown.
Looking back, and as much as I hated him growing up, I came to appreciate how great a villain he was and means he did his job. I can’t picture the Attitude Era working if he wasn’t as great a heel as he was, especially in 2000

Back then I always rooted for the heels
He also take L's when it matters most (if we disregard that one Booker T match). Dude lost more WM matches than anyone in the company, he may be the king of kings but he's also a kingmaker when he put people over
Lololol
🤣🤣🤣🤣
JR commentary made it amazing 😂😂
"Damn you all to hell Triple H!! Ya son of a bitch!!"
When he attacked SCSA JR was so upset 😭😭😭
Ever since Triple H got with Stephanie it was almost guaranteed that he would one of the top guys for the company. He was one of the most despised heels during Attitude and Ruthless Aggression Era, from the McMahon Helmsley faction to Reign of Terror and Evolution everybody hated Triple H
Nope. I Loved him since the beginning!
You may not realize, but DX were the ones who started the Attitude Era.. SCSA and the Rock came in later..
@@ChatPOPPAT Louder for the millions of HHHaters in the back who overrate those two!!!
@ChatPOPPAT Doesn’t matter, Austin and Rock were/are/and always will be way bigger stars than HHH. 💯💯💯
The Rock maybe because of the movies but definitely not Stone Cold. He just didnt realize his full potential. Hhh longevity made him much bigger star than Steve when it was all said and done.
HHH blurring the lines between kayfabe and real life is just the perfect storm for a great heel
As a kid who liked heels, my first indication that wrestling was scripted was triple h covering the sledgehammer with his hand while hitting his opponents. I have never seen 9:25 before. That was brutal!!
JR made H into my favorite heel
Exactly. JR backfired on me. Just made me love HHH more and hate Austin/Rocky more.
Idgaf what anyone says, HHH is one of the few got me into wrestling; he’s my favorite heels and he can get you to hate his guts even in real life. Say what you want, but the man is called the Game for a reason.
HHH is HIM.
What triple H the most hated wrestler? Simple. It’s all about the game and how you play it.
never herd of Jeff Jarrett

my favorite heel of all time in wrestling
#Respect
Yep. There are other heel wrestlers I like better, but HHH was the best heel.
he had the best look of any wrestler ever from 2000-2002… he was a complete badass…. not to mention he also had an extremely hot wife
I'd argue for a certain 326 pounder in 200-2001...
@@andyhd300 lol he had a good look too and was a monster… but i’d rather look like Triple H
Yup, definitely best physique at peak, although he tended to get fat at times
@@fungunsun1 yea he definitely got fat, that’s why i said from 2000-2002
I never hated triple h. He was always my guy since he was a snob. I'm glad to see my guy still made it further in the company than the rock or stone cold lol
Just wait till the court cases are done.....
Triple H should be on the 'Mt. Rushmore' of most hated villains in the WWE( I'd say Piper, Iron Sheik, Mr. McMahon, & Triple H are right up there ). I grew up watching HHH's years as the hottest villain on RAW, literally beating his opponents to a pulp, using the sledgehammer, repeatedly attacking Austin, Jim Ross, The Rock, beating down Lita & The Hardy Boyz, literally having a stranglehold on the heavyweight championship, Ric Flair constantly interfering on his behalf, I mean, I could through a whole list. Triple H easily is one of the greatest villains in the WWE. At least nowadays I can watch all those highlights of the past more relaxed, back then you hated seeing Triple H beating people up so much you just couldn't stand to watch it then. Triple H really was a mastermind at being such a monster heel back then.
Triple H was definitely something alright. When I was a kid, I hated him! He tormented me so much. As I grew up, I liked him. I think it's because I wanted to cheer him so much but I couldn't, his acts were horrendous. I remember when they beat up poor Eugene. And he just kept on screwing Goldberg. He represented everything that was repressed in me. I learned to love to hate him. Now his my favorite wrestler of all time. He really was that damn good!
Aww, welcome to #TeamTrips ! I've always loved him because he was remorseless with everybody. No one was off limits. Opponents, mentors, friends, even family.
@@Speedyreedy1218 True.
I absolutely LOVE the showing of footage/clips opposed to the still imagery route!!
Something tells me the current scandals are another notch on the cerebral assasins belt
He's gotta be the most loved and hated pro wrestler of all time his early DX days and 2006-2010 face Triple H was amazing, he became the biggest star in wrestling because he was overshadowed by austin and rock in the early days
I hated Triple H in the way a fan is supposed to hate him, but in reality, I actually respect the man. Not just for the manner he got to the top and managed to stay there, but he actually legit outmaneuvered the Master of Machiavellian Tactics: Vince McMahon. Both he and The Rock are the most successful wrestlers of all time.
Theres a few reasons one of the main ones being playing the main heel against the two most over faces ever at their peak in Rock and Austin forced him to lift. And He did.
If you go further back in time when kayfabe was taken serious you had men like Larry Zbysko and Freddie Blassie getting attacked on the street and being stabbed just for being heels.
HHH said in a shoot in 2001, the company had to get him a security/bodyguard by 2001 when he was doing appearances because he started getting death threats.
Excellent video.
You present your videos in the most watchable fashion and your voice makes it all the better!
HHH is the GOAT Heel.
na that would be Jeff Jarrett
HHH is one of the goats no matter if he's heel or face.
7:53 that’s kind of insane because Jericho in 2001 was one of the biggest draws. The guy was so over back then as a face it overshadowed other over stars and was on par with The Rock.
From Arrogant to Wacky to a Tyrant to being the most respected name in the Business. Man.. Trips' career was a hell of a ride.
19:32 jr just had to sneak that in there 💀😂
Triple H was and forever will be one of the GOATS.
Thank you for such an amazingly emtertaining wrestling career, and thank you for your ongoing contributions to the start of the Paul Levesque era.🎉🎉🎉🎉
Triple H during 2002 was the ultimate bad guy that every baby face wanted to dethrone badly. Booker T, RVD, Kane, Kevin Nash, Shaun Michaels, Chris Benoit, Goldberg, Randy Orton had chances to end the reign of terror but ultimately Batista became that guy to end it for good. I'll never forget his epic rivalry with Michaels that they went all out just to kill each other. His ultimate faction Evolution though it was created just to keep Triple H champion, Evolution dominated Raw and ended 2003 with all the gold(Triple H: World Heavyweight champion, Randy Orton: IC champion and Rick Flair and Batista: World Tag Team champions). No other faction had that kind of control than Triple H and Evolution. Not even The Bloodline, Judgement Day and The Shield had absolute control of WWE.
I think Prime Triple H was when he called Booker T’s hair nappy
Rock called his hair nappy first.
@@Speedyreedy1218 ok and? He’s talking about himself. Hunter said that Shyt to Bookers face
@@iamme4494 Rock said it on stage to Book while he was in the ring.
Lawler said Foley's hair was nappy two years before this.
Nothing wrong with the comment with Lawler/HHH. They're heels being heels.
Rock as a Babyface had no business doing it. He made him into a laughing stock. And Austin didn't help either.
@@Speedyreedy1218 Never said there was anything wrong with it. In fact I supported HHH….
@@Speedyreedy1218Thing is The Rock was black so he "got the pass" but when Triple H did that it was racist
He took Steph from me 😢
Rip Chyna 😢. She should be in the HOF and Triple H even acknowledged her at the 2019 Hall of Fame ceremony
0:58 someone threw a drink at him and he kept his composure so well.
"NOW IT'S TIME TO PLAY THE GAME" 🙌
Triple H made being a heel look so awesome. After Eddie Guerrero it's the game for me. Nobody did it like he did 💯
Triple H of today is a wise, business oriented leader with an even disposition and the trust of the roster as well as the companies management.
2003-2007 Triple H was a smarmy prick both onscreen and backstage.
The lead up to Wrestlemania 19, Triple H does and says a bunch of racist s**t to Booker T, which would have been totally fine if he got his comeuppance... but he didn't. At Mania he went over clean as a whistle.
A recently returned Chris Masters is backstage with Triple H & Shawn Michaels and mentions wanting to write a book. Triple H scoffs and says "what are you gonna call it? How to lose 60 pounds in 4 weeks?" which was a bulls**t thing to say, seeing as Chris Masters had just returned noticeably smaller after a suspension/rehab stint and getting off the gas. The comment went over the majority of the crowds head, it was just an asshole thing to say to someone in that position.
Or how he and Michaels pretty much single handedly destroyed the careers of 5 young prospects, 3 of which had serious star potential. The final victory of which saw all 5 be stuffed into a box with Triple H slapping a "Ship to OVW" sticker on it. Only Nick Nameth was able to overcome it, and he had to turn into Dolph Ziggler to do so.
There's more than just this, but these are some of the most egregious examples.
#TeamTripsSince95
HHH is the man. Never hated him. Incredible worker & incredible look.
Triple H is that damn good & my favorite Wrestler of all time.
HHH is one of the goats. On my Mt Rushmore for sure
Listening to those 20 min promos during reign of terror was really the best time of my life
Haha
This was good, thank you!
He is the GOAT. Hes done it all man. One of the best faces and top 3 heels of all time. Him saving NXT and all the outside of the ring things ... the goat for me
Mick Foley was the greatest stuntman ever.
He's the reason it's a travesty that wwe isn't eligable for emmys
Bro is the reason why i always root for the bad guys. Goat
I think a huge part of it is the constant ''why would you do that you sob, you big meany..'' from the commentators.
Growing up in a different country with different commentators I got a totally different perspective. They would be like ''Oh what is he pulling from bellow the ring? The hammer. Yes! Oh, he just maimed someone. What a legend.''
Triple H is the very few come up sucess outside his relationship to marriage to the boss's daughter. He got squash bad booking and the main reasons WWE survived WCW with DX. Being the Game the number 1 heel of all time gave the sport entertainment something to watch.
that chair shot on the back of Benoit's neck at 8:58 was fucking brutal
"Neck".
It's especially sickening knowing what we know now about Benoit's fate.

allways liked hhh and loved dx but the heels where allways more fun
Exactly.
This was my guy always picked him in the smackdown vs raw games
2:51 dx 🔥.very rare. where i can get full version at 2:51?
That´s exactly what makes him different, he is with no discussion at all, the best heel of all times.
HHH had the intensity to make every rivalry feel real. But more so w Austin and rock. He was great at building a story
I think he’s one of the most underrated wrestlers ever. He should be on everyone’s Mount Rushmore. He got your favorite wrestlers over.
his return in 2002 still give me goosebumps!
Triple H’s Jean jacket with the leather sleeves was 🥶
I never understand how people never put HHH up as one of the greatest of all time in WWE. He's done it all, held every title, transformed to match the times and pushed the business further and further. Few to no other wrestlers have been as dedicated to the business as him. For 20+ years he's been he's bled three business and he is definitely one of the goats.
Definitely one of the all time greats. You can’t have a heel conversation without him.
These are my personal favorite heels
Triple H, Vince McMahon, JBL, Paul Heyman, Edge, Chris Jericho, CM Punk, Bobby Heenan, Randy Orton, The Rock, Kane, Superstar Billy Graham, Hulk Hogan, Ric Flair, Bret Hart, Trish Stratus, Ted Dibiase, Roman Reigns, Shawn Michaels, Dominick Mysterio, Roddy Piper, Brock Lesnar, Rick Rude, Jesse Ventura, Iron Sheik, Yokozuna, Paul Bearer, Jimmy Hart, Mr. Perfect, Eric Bischoff, Randy Savage, MJF, Bray Wyatt, Owen Hart, Scott Hall, Undertaker, The Miz, Seth Rollins etc.
Say what you want about Triple H but he’s one of the best to ever do it and is to me a Top 3 heel in wrestling.
I would say that edge and jbl you should cover as what made them the most hated
Lets face it We hated him because "he is that damn good"

Dude excellent video, great character analysis. For a long time I’ve been saying HHH is the best heel throughout the years
Goat heel of the last 30 years. There is no debate.
"Ya no good son of a bitch!"
Jim Ross
He said it within moments but HHH has had the best character arc in wrestling
Triple H was always one of my favorites but then again I hated Hulk Hogan as a kid and I loved Macho man, Iron Sheik and Nikolai Volkoff
17:30 dang wwe was wild back then 😳
JR is the reason that HHH was the most hated ever. Heels come and go, but the announcers don't sell their level of hate into the current heels that JR did with HHH. JR didn't even treat Mr McMahon as a dastardly villain, and he was the only on screen personality who came close to matching HHH's heel reactions.
Simply played the heel role very well and put over faces very well
Why did you attack me physically? My intestines are out because of this dream
I love this man.. the legend!
Triple H was always my favorite, I played a video game before I ever watched wrestling when I was a kid and he was my favorite to use so I just stuck with him through all the atrocities lol.
There's nothing cool about Triple H. He couldn't become a top guy until the best guys quit, retired or were drafted to Smackdown.
Exactly, when he had the chance to be "The Man" during the "Reign of Terror" where Raw at that time was the HHH show, the ratings plummeted and the show was boring as fuck. I love the fact that despite all of his years of backstabbing, manoeuvring, politicking the burial of other wrestlers and marrying Stephanie to further his career, he's now The Rock's bitch and he now has to report to him. It's karma for all the shit he pulled in his career, he thought he'd be the head honcho of WWE; now Rocky is ordering him around! It's so fucking funny and I love it
That's my favorite wrestler because u know when u get in the ring with Triple H bottom line u gotta fight on your hands hes one of the toughest and coolest wrestlers I've ever seen
