I could listen to him playing or talking about Bach... probably the best Bach interpreter living today... and I hope for a long time to come!

Schiff just has one of the best interpretations for Bach.

Without a doubt, the best interpretation on CZcams. Not too slow, not too fast, clear and elegant......what can i add ? Nothing -> Bach is reborn in Andras Schiff.

One of the best interpretations of Bach's D-minor concerto.

Tempi and melodies wonderfully harmonized. Practically unmatched. However I wonder if the little embellishments are authentic or would be applauded by Bach. Who knows?

Missing a bit of early Gould's magic in the first movement. The added notes in the first movement are a somewhat ridiculous in my opinion.

Instead of this I rather listen Zoltán Kocsis.
