well, that looks like a damned good fry up...... to point out to anyone who doesn't understand the concept of a breakfast fryup (be it irish or english or scottish) what you're seeing is a portion for 3 or 4 people being cooked - not just one person..... so, reducing this down to a single person needs fewer pans, and a lot less time than an hour to cook start to finish for any beginners - the absolute holy trinity of a fry up is sausage, eggs and bacon..... all of which are in this vid ..... everything else is regional and optional..... being an englishman, I'd always go with baked beans, but can appreciate the need to leave them out in Wee Fry.....ditto, I'll always have toast or buttered bread, but yer man here has potato farls for the carbs instead.... good stuff - thumbs up and liked from me, from London

The sitiation on how to make potato cakes is boill a few potatoes. Mash the amount you need up. I leave the skins on but thats a personal preference. Add some flour and egg. Then form into cake shape and fry up. Simple.
