And the chemistry these 2 have as enemies have some backstory too, they were bestfriends when they were working together under Bill. Makes this fight much more significant.

Man I love that scene it’s one of QT’s best, IT IS the best all women sequence in all of cinema I can’t even think of a close 2nd. Lu should be proud of coming up with that bow, it kicked ass.
It was a theme throughout the movie of respect to other warriors each person is engaged with as lethal and worthy to die, like when an eye was pucked out for disrespect and died a pitiful death.
