Not at all on stock shocks. They won't allow them to travel down enough to hurt the axles. Also limit straps otherwise are just gonna hurt your ground clearance by not letting your shock fully expand.
I mean i will go thru the mud with my commander just not going to sink my commander in the water another words no need for a snorkel for ths guy because i will never abuse my commander like that!
