Bodacious was just a straight up killer, there's a difference between hard to ride and dangerous. People went nuts whenever someone tried bushwhacker, everyone held their breath with bodacious begging guys not to try
just gonna throw this out there bodacious 8 qualified rides out of 135 bushwacker 2 qualified rides out of 66 technically bushwacker is more impressive. but idk when those 8 happened and im guessing these bulls have a prime age so maybe the 5 out of the 8 happened in his later years. not gonna say ones better then the other
Speaking as a 38yo layman, I heard of Bodacious when I was a kid but never heard of Bushwhacker until today, so Bodacious is still more famous to the mainstream audience
Bushwhacker, asteroid, reindeer dipping, bodacious, little yellow jacket, Dillinger, tahonta, sweet pros bruiser and of course the world famous red rock. Those were some incredible bulls.
Yeah, the bull actively tried to hurt people bucking riders forward then would aggressively buck his head straight backwards to hit the rider leaning forward. It was the bulls like, patented move and once he really "learned" it the bull had to be retired. Most bulls don't pull this "move" to riders. Bodacious was also very good outside of being dangerous though. Hard to compare the bulls, imo.
@@RugglesMedia that “move” you talk about is more of a set up made up of a few small moves called a hop skip. Messes the timing for riders all the way up. Very common move for bulls, some just do it better. (Size, momentum, leads) these are factors.
JB is a legend, and rightfully deserved. The absolute dedication of the man to his craft was insane. He ate, breathed, and lived bullriding. It's all he did.
I like the idea of pitting yourself against a beast. I've always respected bull riders alot for that. It's a sport I know very little about. This interview has inspired me to watch and learn more about it. Thanks JRE
Watch Tuffs interview. Bodacious was a bada$$ and the older he got the better he got. Hes the reason riders started wearing face mask. They retired him because riders had gotten scared to ride him, even Tuff although technically did ride him when the gate opened but he jumped/pulled off before they left the chute, so he still rode him but he even didnt want anymore of him after bodacious crushed his face. Plus it was only a matter of time before he killed a rider. He destroyed many riders faces and broke many bones. Bushwacker, riders were bucked off, Bodacious, riders would jump off because they didnt want no part of him.
Sammy Andrews retired Bodacious after he hurt Scott Breding,he didn't want to be responsible for someone getting killed. He has said this many times over the years in interviews,Bodacious's early retirement had nothing to do with people not wanting to ride him....
Sweet pro Bruiser, amazing bull, amazing moves but had something extra, never tried to mash up riders would avoid standing on them, he was something special, knew what his job was he was an amazing showman. RIP Bruiser.
Bodacious is the baddest bull ever .. They had to retire Bo because he had a signature move were he would throw tje rider in the air and as the rider fell face forward he would buck his head up and smash his head into the riders face ..and he was destroying riders and literally breaking faces ..Bodacious is the Rankest bull of all time
TOP 5.... 1. Bodacious 2. Bushwaker 3. Red Rock(only undefeated bull ever) 4. Buzzsaw( Mexican bull, destroyed people) 5. Tie, Tahanto, Dillinger, Yellowjacket. There will always continue to be good bulls, some may prove to be the best. And the bulls have it tougher now. Riders are better trained.
Miss watching the shows when I would go to Mexico with my dad, these guys that ride these bulls are extraordinary, takes real guts man. Say what you will, if it’s not your thing, but go to a show and you will be amazed, and respect the ppl that go in there with a badass bull.
It's one of the dumbest activities man has yet come up with. Men abusing large, powerful, simple-minded animals in a fruitless search for manhood. I hope current and future generations realize how dumb bull riding is, and the "sport" dies off completely.
My best friend is a champion. His family specializes in cutting. He is a whole different breed of man. They don't build them like that much anymore. He looks like he was born to be in the saddle...
My man didnt shout out Red Rock, how dare he. Edit: Red Rock reitired 309-0 including a few trys to the great Lane Frost. Of course Lane later ended up covering Red Rock, as we know. Bodacious and Bushwacker are legends, too, for sure.
bushwacker was just athletic, bodcious was just straight hope u get out of there without injury ty murray tried him 3 times and failed., tuff hedeman learned his lesson on bodacious
Bodacious is the baddest Bull Ever… Mr Sammy Andrews” Stock.!!! The PBR Retired him’ Because the Cowboys were Scared to Ride him.. Bushwhacker’ Was Soft Compared to ole Bo”’” 😄
Just my opinion but whenever you start making dudes that are straight up crazy and tough as nails go looking for safety equipment you win!! If I remember correctly bodacious was destroying guys faces and was a big reason for helmets being introduced.
In no particular order the 5 greatest bucking bulls in history are: Bodacious, Little Yellow Jacket, Reindeer Dippin, Bushwacker and Mossy Oak Mudslinger. In my opinion that’s without knowing stats, just based off of eye test.. goosebumps whenever watching those mf’s buck 😅
Let’s clarify something DO you mean most dangerous as in harm someone OR most dangerous as in few or no one could ride? BECAUSE if the answer is so few ridden THAT would be RedRock. The bull from 8 seconds. Ridden by a grand total of one person out of 300+ outs.
2 types I see. 1, being a traditional looking mexican rodeo, the sombreros and shotgun chaps, big arena. (Caliber of bulls dont even compete with US) 2, being my least favorite to watch, guys are jumping down getting an absurd hold with aggressive spurs and ride them to a stand still.. to each their own ig
Another great bull from that era, Oscar. Over 300 attempts with only five qualified rides. Including a 97 by 8 time world champion, Don Gay. Tough damn bulls back then too.
See. I don’t think Bushwacker was “dangerous” he rarely tried to hook guys after they were down. There were a few times yeah, but not to the extent of other guys. Bushwacker’a danger came from the fact that he was a literally dancing Mack Truck sized animal.
Bo was big, bad and dangerous. Bushwacker you could never get tapped off on him. He had many tricks and bucked like hell. Two distinct bulls. Both could hold top spot on any given day.
Bodacious is the most dangerous bull ever,he was retired early because he was injuring so many people.
Most dangerous and hardest to ride are 2 different things bubba. Dobacious was just as much a danger after the ride as during.
He was retired because guys were turning him out instead of riding him.
But a great bull.
Bodacious was just a straight up killer, there's a difference between hard to ride and dangerous. People went nuts whenever someone tried bushwhacker, everyone held their breath with bodacious begging guys not to try
When I saw they said bushwhacker was the most dangerous my first thought was they don’t know who bodacious is….
just gonna throw this out there
bodacious 8 qualified rides out of 135
bushwacker 2 qualified rides out of 66
technically bushwacker is more impressive. but idk when those 8 happened and im guessing these bulls have a prime age so maybe the 5 out of the 8 happened in his later years. not gonna say ones better then the other
I wish you could get JB on you show!
Speaking as a 38yo layman, I heard of Bodacious when I was a kid but never heard of Bushwhacker until today, so Bodacious is still more famous to the mainstream audience
Because you heard of him that means he's more famous? Nah bushwacker is more famous
I was in Tulsa that night, his ride was amazing and the crowd went absolutely nuts. Everyone was rooting for him.
Me also
And that’s the only reason he got credited for a full 8.0. Replay shows him off at 7.7-7.8s. Any other rider doesn’t get that ride.
Bushwhacker, asteroid, reindeer dipping, bodacious, little yellow jacket, Dillinger, tahonta, sweet pros bruiser and of course the world famous red rock. Those were some incredible bulls.
I named my druid in WoW Redrock after the bull.
Most folks would think that we were crazy on this comment section!…..but those who know…..know
@@mulltothree4375 haha thats great
@BiblicalTRUTHToday Air Time. Air Time Highlights 2015 (PBR)
Don’t forget Oscar and Tornado
JB on the JRE would be gold!! A whole new audience!!! Love you Joe. Love you Dale!! Greatness here
For sure! Rogan would love JB and he's a good interview, but would be golden uncensored.
I have only seen JB Mauny interviewed once--he seemed to have a poor on-air personality.
Bushwacker was a beast!!! But the most dangerous is definitely bodacious. He actively tried to hurt people and was good at it
Yeah, the bull actively tried to hurt people bucking riders forward then would aggressively buck his head straight backwards to hit the rider leaning forward. he was actually just a cowboy who rode bulls.
he made a pretty big point about how he was a cowboy first before a bullrider in the vice video he was in
Bodacious was king and was known as THE MOST DANGEROUS bull.

Stormy Wing roding Bruiser is one of the best rides I've ever seen. JB and Chase Outlaw loosing their minds in the background was awesome.

Yea Bruiser actually hurt himself at one point trying to avoid stepping on a rider he bucked off. He was such a good-hearted bull.
Bodacious is the baddest bull ever .. I remember watching that bullriding show on a Sunday afternoon when JB won that championship, I was flipping back and forth watching a NFL game!
Please get JB on the podcast. I know your audience is huge, but the extra ears, eyes, and stories would be amazing
there is a special bond between dale and JB
One of the best podcasts I’ve seen now do in a awhile….! Dale ya
Bo was dangerous.
Bushwacker was a hard to tap off on and bucked like hell.
TOP 5....
Lane Frost did ride Red Rock
Bushwacker was by fat the most effective. Bodacious was just dangerous af. Its like he learned to injure dudes
I think people also forget a bull named Mick E Mouse...unridden in the PBR, not dangerous, but unridden none the less.
Mr. T of Burns's was rank and hardly ridden.
Look up bandito
Thanks for shining light in the coolest American culture
When I worked as a farm hand as a young lad, there were two scary things on the farm, the owner and the bulls who came and went.
Miss watching the shows when I would go to Mexico with my dad, these guys that ride these bulls are extraordinary, takes real guts man. Say what you will, if it’s not your thing, but go to a show and you will be amazed, and respect the ppl that go in there with a badass bull.
it is impressive. It'll make you think twice about walking up to a horned hamburger in a field, eh?

Absolutely. There's no faking that sport
Should get JB on joe Rogan
• Bodacious
• Bushwacker
• Red Rock
• Tornado
vs
• Justin McBride
• J.B. Mauney
• Tuff Hedeman
• Lane Frost
Knew a kid who died from wearing the wrong kind of shoes in saddle bronc. Really put into perspective how dangerous rodeo can be
Love this!!! Wait til Joe Rogan finds out about tuff Hedeman getting wrecked by bodacious!
One word, Bodacious. The end

When bushy did the spin, I couldn't imagine anyone holding on. That bull owns the ground he is standing on.
Yeah dude. It was nuts. It was like watching a hate fueled 2200lb ballerina.
Cool whip.... another legendary bull
HES A 7 MILLION DOLLAR BULLRIDER!!!! JBBBBBBBBBBB MAUNEYYYYYYY!
It was Douglas Duncan at the PBR finals as a 3 yo. Jam up bullride for a ns
When I was growing up I heard about a bull named mad maxx that was a beast
My wife's favorite was Crossroads.
My man didnt shout out Red Rock, how dare he.
Edit: Red Rock reitired 309-0 including a few trys to the great Lane Frost.
Of course Lane later ended up covering Red Rock, as we know.
Bodacious and Bushwacker are legends, too, for sure.
Red rock is a legend 💯
I was thinking the same thing, what about Red Rock?!
2 greats
Damn it must have been really sunny in there. Poor guy had to wear his shades and hat inside.
“Cowboy factor “ 😂😂😂🤦♂️🤦♂️🤦♂️
No need for a split screen just look into Dale Brisbys eyes and you'll see Joe rogan
I seen it many times slow motion and I seen riders not given the ride for longer rides in other bulls than what he did on bush
Dale in your area where do you buy cedar fence post?
Bodacious says,.. "hold my beer"! Bushwacker was nothing compared to Bodacious
No mention of red rock or chainsaw those bulls must be badass.
My dad did that shit. He seen a few friends die on bulls. He went exclusively riding broncos and quit that when a buddy of his got stomped dead.
Still think JB riding Crosswired at the Finals was the best ride I’ve ever seen - regardless of score.
I bet it’s a totally different feeling being there
man, rogan looks good in a cowboy hat...who would have thought
I’m assuming this is where the term balls of steel came from because I can’t imagine mine still being intact hats off to y’all
J.B. Mauney needs a Shrine, a Movie, and a Marby Red.
Bodacious was the baddest bull ever.....it's not even close
He said PBR events. I immediately thought Pabst Blue Ribbon. 🤦😂🤣🤪
Petal harbor right there with bushwhacker
Anyone know what brand hat Dale is wearing
Bodacious just wanted to buck riders off so he could stomp them
Iykyk
Can't leave out Oscar the Bull!
JB IS THE MAN DUH TELL EM "DALE" OH DALE YEAH
2:27 if you’ve never been to a big rodeo you are absolutely missing out!
Douglas Duncan took him the distance but touched him with his elbow.
Why does nobody remember this or talk about this cause he rode him dead easy to ol Douglas was a sticky sob
@@jeremiahlesleawilder5329 bc bushwhacker didnt have a name then, but those who know, know. DD was a bad man in a rope!
I rode a lot of bulls… mostly day-olds. That’s a cowboy!
That ride was the decline of bushwacker. He was done
Dude he went on to buck off another 20 straight after JB rode him. He was never ridden again.
Gotta love dale!
Only 2 type of people wear sunglasses indoors
“HE’S A 12 MILLION DOLLAR BULLRIDER” #iykyk
Bodacious
Troubadour was up on top too ❤
You really need JB on the show Joe. Talk about a jillion views!
bushwacker was just athletic, bodcious was just straight hope u get out of there without injury ty murray tried him 3 times and failed., tuff hedeman learned his lesson on bodacious
“ look at the neck on that mf”
This guy looks like Jimmy The Mouth of the South Hart and Randy Macho Man Savage had a baby
Bushwackler was dangerous to your standings, Bodacious was dangerous to your life.
He learned how to get the rider loose, then smashed their faces.
What about RED ROCK and LANE FROST ??
Bodacious is the baddest Bull Ever… Mr Sammy Andrews” Stock.!!! The PBR Retired him’ Because the Cowboys were Scared to Ride him.. Bushwhacker’ Was Soft Compared to ole Bo”’” 😄
Joe looks good in a cowboy hat ..l think it's a good idea if Joe is allowed to ride a bull in the pbr for a shit ton of money to charity or something
Everyone knows Lane Frost is the true G.O.A.T
🐂 "bodacious" am i a joke over here.
Markus Mariluch rode bushy as a calf.
Doesn’t count.

As a non bull rider person the only name I’ve heard was yellow jacket or little yellow jacket. But I’ve heard of jb Mooney so he must be a big deal.
👀 nose beer's 😂
Ya need to look up chainsaw the badass from Australia
Let’s clarify something DO you mean most dangerous as in harm someone OR most dangerous as in few or no one could ride? BECAUSE if the answer is so few ridden THAT would be RedRock. The bull from 8 seconds. Ridden by a grand total of one person out of 300+ outs.
Jb is the goat
Idk i just cant get into a sport where you use angry and stressed-out animals as entertainment but aye to each there own
He retired JB and JB retired the bull to his ranch 😂
I clicked on this because i thought Joe was interviewing Macho Man Randy Savage.
Same .. even though i know he's dead. 😂
People should look up "Bandido" scariest clips I've ever seen of a bull. Mickey mouse was scary as fuck too but the bull died young
I don’t get guys who wear sunglasses inside.
You should of asked him about the mexican bull rider i believe they are some of the best bull riders maybesome of the first, look it up
2 types I see.

I loved mr usa

I hear ya. I remember Bodacious being a face crusher. Nasty. @@travishendrix7026
