exactly im losing to people that have LESS gear power than me. Then they start to get 4k+ every time they get above me
remembering the work i put in to get started and good at this game, played almost everyday for about 4 hours straight trying to get more gear constantly. Took month breaks from that game and now I suck lol.
as a 12 year old girl who plays robeats everyday i have decided to play each song that leo plays and record my score and grade in each of his video's comment sections. here are the timestamps and scores/grades for each song he played that i also played. (fyi, i do not consider myself good at robeats nor think i am)

My grade: B (i was so close to a lmao)

I am a gear user, but i play on casual mode (unless if there is an event) , however the gear that i am using was an accuracy gear because for somehow everytime i hit a note it always says great

Im a gear user too, however my gear power is on 1496 rn (im completing the legendsry rebel kit which uses brass tokens, the path is on 4 gears out of 6 gears) to finish this kit i need like 27 brass tokens which is a lot (gear power boosts to 1613 when im playing a song with only the category of chill)
P.S : my gear power is Chill as the primary color and beat as the secondary color

I'm questioning how i'm intended to start out and get better at the game , it's already hard enough because i cant figure out how to to do slightly harder songs that have wavy patterns , and if that's not enough then this is perfect to make it so nobody starts playing the game again.

I just started playing robeats yesterday and already got A+ in a difficulty 6 song
I started a month ago (see my channel vids). It was super hard to get into, and i got mad a lot. But i got better, but when i started being able to play level 10 songs, thats when my skill curve slowed. My best song i can play is life is fun. I play it alright, and only played it once, with around 5 misses.

For me it’s the opposite because new players will focus on upgrading and getting better gear instead of practicing to improve and old players did not have gear upgrades or legendary gear so an old player will have lesser gear or the same amount of gear as a new player, unless you spend robux.
