Hello everyone and welcome back to my channel.
On todays episode I am doing a Plain Talking Review of Tamiya's 1:35 Panzerkampfwagen V 'Panther' (Sd.kfz.171 ) Ausf.A, one of, if not THE favourite kit from my modelling history.

Always interesting to see how you get the tracks look realistic. To get that worn in metal look on each linkage
I use gun metal as a base coat, then dry brush rust and bark brown.

I think it goes to prove that sometimes the simplest things are the best, and this is one of Tamiya's better kits I think, and is so easy to build!! I think I'm going to have a go at doing Zimmerit coating on it, something I've not tried yet. i know what you mean about the age range too, but that's modern day youtube for you, if I don't make it ''Not Made For Children'' then it won't get put on the home page making it nearly impossible for non-subscribers to find, plus if I get to the point where I can actually earn a little money from my video's, then again, I wouldn't get a penny for it because children could watch it. I got into the hobby around 9 years old too, so yes it's sad but necessary for my channel.
@@AdrianBowerProject Yeah, I know youtube has come up with these rather silly new rules. I guess we all have to just live with it, in these new times of snowflakery..;)
I look forward to seeing how the zimmerit goes, as I too, have yet to do any, and most likely this one, or possibly the Tamiya King Tiger I also have, will be the first one I'm planning to have a go.

Hi Adrian the panther tank was one of the most famous tank of World War Two there were several versions of the tank it was very formidable against the allied tanks its a good model nice decals i have made the Airfix 1/72 scale for war gaming i usually use a stapler on the tracks i find it more secure thanks 👍🏻
Many thanks as always Bruce!! It's a great model, and really easy to build too. I remember making the Airfix 1:72 version too, their 1:72 Panzer IV was another of my favourites, I did loads of them too!!
