    Thank you for sharing. Sometimes, I just want to see the squares, and no border. This technique looks easy to do too.

    I had been hunting for a video using the invisible join but had somehow missed yours until watching the video you put out today. I usually use join-as-you-go but currently working on a project where I want to complete the squares and then join them with the different colours touching. Thanks as always!!

      Glad you found this! I also prefer the join as you go but as you say, there are occasions when it is more convenient to make all the squares first.

    Yes this i believe is mattress stitch and use it to join seams in knitting

      Yes, I have heard that name for it too. Handy for anything that has even rows of stitches!

      You can add anything around the piece after you have joined all. A border of some kind or just for example go round it with reverse single crochets.
