It's a beautiful episode. It was so nice to see Muichiro's smile and the paper airplane match. I am so glad we got to see the sparing match between the three Hasira.

@@forceoflegend3965 yes!! and imo that's one of the funniest bits of this arc on the manga, the way all the Hashira that know Tanjirō are so friendly and loving with him compared to how they behave with every other Slayer lol

@felipeaquitral I think they are doing an amazing job with adding some additional content. I know there are those who will scream "not canon," but the author has stated they felt the series was rushed. So, Ufotable adding content is great. I wish they would add some of the light novel stuff.
The paper airplane bit was a tad random, but it was just so wholesome. You have to remember Muichiro and Tanjiro are young teenagers. Really, just kids. There childhoods were ruined by demons, and it’s likely that’s the case for many of the lower rank slayers as well. So a moment of reprive like that was really sweet, and I’m glad something comforting was added to the episode
I am wondering how did they know about airplanes back in the taisho era when Tanjiro didn't even know about butter
@@brokenamvs9707 true . even though some kind of airplanes were there in japan that time but Tanjiro who lived in mountains and didnt know about train , somehow knew about airplanes . Anyway , it was not in the manga , this and last episode are anime only episode

@@brokenamvs9707 the first flight in Japan was in 1910 according to the internet, the Taishō period dates from 1912 to 1926, so there prob were planes. but i agree that it's a bit weird considering that Tanjirō doesn't know butter or pancakes and didn't know trains until Mugen. my guess is that Tanjirō could know that those where called paper planes, but never saw an actual plane?
also, you may see planes in the sky even if you're a poor guy from the country, but you'll have to go to a train station to see a train, and butter and pancakes were just introduced in the Meiji period and usually only rich ppl had those. so it's not thaaaat weird that Tanjirō knows planes.

@@ds_santos57 Brooo, they literally said that sanemi and obanai are equal in terms of strength. Sanemis can't defeat muichiro. Just like muichiro cant efeat sanemi. I believe that they are he three strongest hashiras without counting Gyomei (who is the strongest).
ppl fighting over powerscaling is so meh. and i love how this ep deals with it xd
all Hashira are around the same strenght, the only clear anomaly is Gyōmei. is that simple.

I won't say them fillers. It was essential for the character development otherwise everything would have felt rushed. So the Anime did a better job than manga

This is probably my least favorite season of Demon Slayer tbh. I remember in the manga the Hashira Training arc was over so quickly I didn't think they could possibly make it an entire season. But they're managing to drag it out, and it's really dragging...thankfully next season should be the best season of the entire show.
yeah , but we get hashira fights . Just because of them , this season is worth it . Also even in this arc , training was not the highlight . the backstories were .
Not everyone is action obsessed. I like seeing character interaction, and good writing, not just fights.

@@Columbina_Damsellette What are you talking about? It's a shounen. Same genre as Dragon Ball Z, Attack on Titan, Jujutsu Kaisen, etc. Action is the MAIN focus of the show. But hey glad you're having a great time. Most ppl are falling asleep waiting for the good arc.
