My Granny is a 102 and praying she'll see 103 in September. Had a hand in raising all her grandkids. Those hands still clapping in church every Sunday and highschool Football on Friday. Enjoy them while they are here. They are such Blessings. Love you GRANDMA D. 😘

I only knew my grandfather on my father's side of the family. Papa, as we called him, took care of Grandma Sara who was very sick and passed before I knew her. On my mother's side of the family, both grandparents passed away when I was a little child 😢 💔 Anyone who knew and loved their grandparents are Blessed.

*edit* After a long journey through this thing called life she peacefully passed away Friday September 4th, 2020 at 97. Our entire family is in mourning due to losing our matriarch and spiritual rock. Thank you grandma for the constant prayers, wisdom, love and support. Those hands... Grandma's hands were strong as they were soft. Those hands raised children into responsible adults and in turn raised many more in the face of adversity. Her spirit will remain constant. Losing you will never sit right with me, but I am at peace to know that you're in a place with no pain, sorrow, war, disease or hatred. I'll love you forever and will see you one day with your wings... Amen 🙏🏾❤.
