As a swede, feels like a double whammy, ekblad obviously means "oak leaf" in Swedish, and im gonna assume one of his ancestors was Swedish as well, since farmers who didnt pick a son name after their fathers usually named themselves after something close to their farms, like an old tree or creek etc.
