  • The Paranormal is Normal but Quite Different
    The reports of literally thousands of persons who experienced paranormal phenomena support the conclusion that the “paranormal” is quite common and quite “normal”, but it is still tabooed by (western) societies. There is nothing supernatural behind it; interactions of spirits or disincarnate entities, or the assumption of transcendental dimensions are not needed. A rather simple expansion of the usual scientific reductionism makes it understandable.
    This means that the concept of „entanglement“ which is borrowed from quantum theory is able to give a proper description of paranormal phenomena. It explains their spontaneity and elusiveness and allows coping with them. Moreover, the concept allows predictions, which can be verified experimentally.

    Parapsychology is closely linked with so-called eastern mysticism,which was discussed in the book The Tao of Physics: An Exploration of the Parallels between Modern Physics and Eastern Mysticism by Fritjof Capra. Many parapsychology phenomena were recorded for the eastern practices e.g. meditation in Taoism, Buddhism, etc. One of my classmates experience such thing during his Qigong training. I am from China. I read a lot of parapsychology record in ancient Chinese books written more than two thousands years ago.

    Glad I found this video and channel, as well as the channels and videos in the suggested videos in the sidebar. It's nice and refreshing to see actual scientists discussing the field of Parapsychology in a scientific context, using scientific methods and generally approaching the field of Parapsychology from a scientific point of view. The common approach of "it's a ghost, look at the paranormal activity with apparitions" etc... has set the field of Parapsychology back practically since it's very inception (in Western culture anyway), causing the entire field to receive very little attention, even derision and disdain, from the scientific community at large. Hopefully, real scientists will continue to approach and speak on the subject from a scientific viewpoint, showing the scientific community (and the general public) that all the mumbo-jumbo and hocus- pocus can be ignored in favor of real science and scientific method. Great video and keep up the good work, I tip my hat to brave scientists willing to speak on the subject, even with the risk of being taken as some kind of pseudo-scientists and nut cases by their peers.

    Interesting. I literally saw poltergeist activity when I was younger. A female friend (19-20) was arguing on the phone with her mom. Stuff started to fly off the wall, kind of random. The building was an old stone post office converted to apartments. There was no way that movement from the building would knock stuff off. Plus I checked to see if any windows were open, there were not. She got off the phone and the activity continued for a few minutes. I was not scared, it was just odd.
    So we have found the causal aspect. How exactly does it happen? Emotions are a phenomenon that arises from being alive, but how does that "force" influence objects around us?

It was a symbolic and a sign her mom was not well. When she became conscious of that and accepted the meaningfullness of the synchronicity the poltergeist went away, it had done its duty.

    • @Joxman2k
      @Joxman2k Před rokem

      @@Vahe345 Perhaps :) I think it was more an outpouring of emotions and her perhaps subconscious wish to hurt her mom in those moments, but it is forbidden, so that young female force did things a person would do when they cant hurt the person, they/we go after inanimate objects to release that energy/emotion in a "safe" way. I do not believe Poltergeists are a separate entity that can do our bidding, but perhaps an extension of ourselves/the target. Like a physical emotion or energy. Or perhaps that energy might "wander" around for awhile before it dissipates. I dont think a mediumship type of communication can be set up outside the presence of the target. but maybe if the person is present it might respond emotionally to asked questions.

      ABDIAZIZ FARAH "you're overthinking it buddy. It's normal". Not quite actually, this "normal" reality is not as normal as you think. Take a particle, look further to find a subatomic particle, look further to find vortices of vibrating energy. Even our bodies are made up of this energy. (Interesting note - Nikola Tesla said that if we want to understand the universe, think in terms of frequency and vibration) Our consciousness has been shown to have physical affects on reality. The double slit experiment which showed that when scientists observed an electron, it necessitated where it would appear (very brief summary, you definitely should search it).
      This "normal" reality is far from normal, I strongly suggest you look deeper into quantum physics.

    • @thomasa.1772
      @thomasa.1772 Před 6 lety +3

      extraterrestrial16 I agree 100%. It is not known how human consciousness works. Where did it come from? Science has theories, but no credible reasons - paranormal.
      When ghosts and hauntings are considered, I believe both kinds exist. If our consciousness is so strong, and contains every part of our personality, it cannot just dissipate upon death. "Energy cannot be created or destroyed; it can only change form." (Einstein). Our consciousness came from somewhere. We do not know where - paranormal.
      How do hauntings work? A haunting, according to Loyd Auerbach, is a residual "recording" of past events that replay under the right conditions. Where there is water there is a great chance for these place memories. Water conducts energy like lightning which is electricity, and the human energy is pure electricity. When our electrostatic energy imprints into the environment by psychokinesis, it gets stuck in a quantum web. When geomagnetic storms happen it can ignite this energy. This is purely theoretical, but when we consider Quantum mechanics, especially the split laser experiment (which proves electrons can be in two places at once) this could explain teleportation of an energy field.
      Our reality is what we see it as. It's not set in stone. Things happen in outer space that we cannot explain, or measure. I wish science would not turn a theory away because it cannot be measured.

If animals can do things other animals cant do and so do humans, what if our mind, the way we think, is just the beginning, but our mind can advance, upgrade, into a mind that can actually bend reality for example parakinesis

    The rest remain inconclusive, but there has not been in conclusive evidence to show that paranormal events happen in reality.

Fast forward to the conclusive evidence , Read the works of Dr. Jeffery Mishlove , Dr. Jules Eisenbud , Dr. A.W.G Owen , Dr. William Roll , Mrs. Iris M. Owen , Dr. Dean Raden , Dr. Stanley krippner , Dr. Charles Tart , Joseph McMoneagle (US Army intelligence) , Professor Stephen E. Braude , Dr. Ed May , and who can forget Carl Jung and even Terrence McKenna. They and about a dozen other past and present research scientists who's books I have read have demonstrated without question the reality of the phenomena. In fact , Psychokinesis alone is telling us huge amounts about how quantum theory works in the mundane world. The field of parapsychology is absolutely filled with evidence. I think there's a huge interest not to prove any of this stuff, and that's why anyone in parapsychology will tell you that funding is always scarce, with proper funding things could change, although certain phenomena are very difficult to observe and test under the scientific method. Assuming for a minute that ghosts exist, even in a home that reports frequent unexplained disturbances of this nature, is not likely to produce much evidence unless monitored in its entirety (every inch of the house covered) for a long enough period of time. The reality is not like in the movies, the events themselves can be infrequent, then a few can come at once, and then nothing for months or years, it makes the science in this area very difficult.

    For the ordinary person it is almost inconceivable how the huge material creation is resting in Him. But the Lord is giving an example which may help us to understand. Space is the biggest manifestation we can conceive. The cosmic manifestation rests in space. Space permits the movement of even the atoms and on up to the greatest planets, the sun and the moon. Although the sky (or wind or air) is great, still it is situated within space. Space is not beyond the sky.
    Similarly, all the wonderful cosmic manifestations are existing by the supreme will of God, and all of them are subordinate to that supreme will. As we generally say, not a blade of grass moves without the will of the Supreme Personality of Godhead. Thus everything is moving under His will: by His will everything is being created, everything is being maintained, and everything is being annihilated. Still He is aloof from everything, as space is always aloof from the activities of the atmosphere.
