That play from those 2 first kills was actually clean af
I played alot with Profane Hydra as 1-2 item into collectior then lifesteal/IE/LDR 4-5th item JakSho if they got any dmg threat usually they do, feels really good imo and Profane Hydra fits rly good with her all in when ur melee.

Probably autofilled maybe? Low elo support players rarely have any idea what they should be doing in general so who knows.

It was a normals game in about silver elo. The account he played on is called "gwenoul" on EUW.
Does DD work on adc now or is it still the same ?
Maybe a stupid question but anyway: is Samira playable in top?
I'm not a sweat or anything, but I main Samira with about 650k mastery for whatever that's worth.
Bone Plating+Unflinching is your best minor runes most of the time top imo, and shieldbow first seems to do best because the durability/sustain during longer fights that happen with bruisers etc.
She struggles into the tankier matchups like Urgot, Malphite, the usual armor stackers, just because they're usually better in melee range plus they have the cc to shut down your ult.
However she is surprisingly nasty as a counter to most other ranged tops if you pull/freeze waves and go for all in, especially post-6 or with a gank, and she does pretty well at going even into some lane bullies like Irelia if you can kite and block projectiles well with W.

10:20: yeah, that’s how you play Samira in season 14 😂😂😂 I’m joking of course… Even if I’m way worse than you at this game, I recommend you to watch if the screen becomes red while you are rewatching the play and if it happens maybe you should stop the replay… it’s just a useful strategy so this hopefully doesn’t happen again, because I think this mistake ruined your literally perfect played game. I love your content.

How would you continue the build if the game kept on going
Bloodthirster is priority don't go for armor pen fast except if there is an overwhelming number of tanks like 3 top jg and supp if not just go bloodthirster after shieldbow then go for IE since its not a mythic anymore and not really important pre 4th item and if tanks become a problem just sneak a last whisper in your kit
Shieldbow second is not that great.

SB as 2nd item isn't good, since the shield value doesn't increase until level 13, which is 3rd item territory at best. It's either SB rush or third or later. Please try educating yourself before making a "guide" people will be misinformed by.
Dont want to be harsh but you literally called the video "Best build" no this is not the best build.
And Infinity Edge doesn't get full value until 100% crit chance which doesn't happen until ~35 minutes into the game or level ~16. It's still a decent 2nd/3rd item choice anyway, and so is Shieldbow. You don't necessarily need the full value of an item for it to be a good buy. This isn't like BT where you're only getting 25% of the full passive value before level 13, with Shieldbow you get 60.3% of the full passive value before level 13. That's really good.
You can't just look at when an item starts scaling, you also have to look at how good it is before it starts scaling. The flaw with your way of looking at it is that if Shieldbow gave a shield of 50-530 based on level, but scaling from level 1, it would be a worse 1st item powerspike, but in your eyes it would be a better 1st item because it would already be scaling. In reality, winrates tell us that Shieldbow is a good 1st item, 2nd item, 3rd item, 4th item, 5th item and 6th item.
The purpose of the scaling on BT is to make it bad early, but good late. The purpose of the scaling on Shieldbow is to scale to be good late, but also to be good before it starts scaling. If Shieldbow gave a flat 310 damage shield (the pre-scaling value), it would still be a viable item early item, its scaling would just suck. Current Shieldbow has its scaling designed to still be a good lategame item, rather than to fall off after early game. That's the only purpose behind its scaling. It's not about gatekeeping its power behind levels, but rather to make sure that it remains powerful even later into the game.

@@VaporaDark The problem with Shieldbow is that the value just falls off in general I feel. It starts scaling so late into the game and by so little that the only reason it's viable at all is because of a lack of alternatives, the shield just doesn't help much against mid and late game damage. Going Maw, DD or a full tank item later on might do a better job at keeping you alive but it obviously hurts your damage even more, while BT is the better item for a more aggressive build but makes you more susceptible to burst.
Concerning her winrate, while her winrate with SB isn't bad at any point, she has better option in literally every item slot (with relevant pick rate) except for her first item. At first I thought the item wasn't really worth it as early as second item, but the base shield value starts off rather strong, but falls off the later the game goes on even once it starts scaling.
As a first item, it seems to be doing pretty well and the 320 HP shield should really carry its weight at that point. Later on BT seems more useful for her usual builds because its stats are way more gold efficient. Although there might be a niche where SB into more defensive bruiser items could work. Having more armor/MR also makes the shield more durable, but you obviously lose out on a lot of damage for your better survivability, which is why such a build really doesn't work without IE second. IE just carries her damage way too hard, which is also why you want to get it as soon as her crit chance reaches a point it's semi consistent.
So rather than SB being a bad 2nd item by itself, Samira's build paths just don't allow her second item slot to be occupied by SB imo. You either get it first for the immediate defensive power, easy to pivot into both full crit or more defensive builds, or you go the usual Collector + IE build and get it as a 3rd or 4th item, committing towards a drain tank kind of build.
That is of course completely ignoring her lethality builds, which also seem to be pretty strong right now, but I expect lethality to get nerfed at some point.
