I moved to another town, then 2 years later moved back. My high school was filled with people I had known for years who apparently didn't remember me. A number of students (socially labeled 'burnouts') got it in their heads that I was a Narc because I looked older. One even tried to pawn a 'joint' (actually made of pencil shavings) off on me to see if I would turn them in. I had grown up with these people from grade school. /facepalm
